Swelling and numbness?

I’m just wondering if anyone knows if there’s a rough amount of time to expect to be swelled for or if it’s different for everyone? & I am post op 3days and experiencing numbness in just one boob which is more swelled than the other is this normal? X

Im also the same 🙂 post op 3 days and both nipples still feel very numb, and my right boob is more swollen than my left and also a little more sore, I think it’s normal they both will heal at different paces and probably wont settle at the same time 🙂 hows youre healing going? Do you still have achey pains/burning around incisions etc? X

Ohhh I feel better about it now then! yeahh im getting all those sensations but mainly in my left boob which is more swollen! I’ve only took my bra off once since though I’m trying to leave it on as much as possible! How’s everything with you? Xx

Yeah I’ve read a few people have one more swollen than the other at the minute and abit more tender so I wouldn’t worry too much I think worrying too much will stress us out and will slow our healing down lol so i’m trying not to think too much about it and just let it do its thing! Haha I’m the same I havn’t took it off atall since it got put on Tuesday night! I feel like if I take it off theyre swollen I wont be able to get it back on lol. Just gunna wait till my 1wPO to see them again and fingers crossed no problems! Getting some burning around the scar areas and theyre still quite warm and swollen so gunna put some ice packs on them later for abit 🙂 xxx

I think we are having all normal symptoms anyway so fingers crossed our po check up will be all good! Have you managed to get out and about yet? I’ve been to get my hair and nails done too feel a bit nicer haha! Just keep taking my pillow every where with me in the car which makes it a bit more comfortable don’t know how I’ll feel after a trip to Manchester on Tuesday though! & today I’m trying to wait 4 hours inbetween painkillers xx

I’ve been up and about the house a little bit, think I strained myself abit too much last night after doing a water change on my fish tank and lifting/closing things as i felt quite sore when I sat back down in bed later! Lol. Taking it easy today although im feeling like such a dirty gremlin now! Ive been babywiping myself and im gunna attempt to have a shallow bath on monday night and hair wash before my 1week post op checkup lol. I took a pillow in the car on journey home from the hospital it was a godsend! Helped loads for support 🙂 bet you feel lovely with ur hair and nails done! Haha. Me too im spacing the painkillers out as much as I can so i have some spare to take at night as I find thats when im most achey. Do you live far from Manchester? Luckily my 1 weekpo checkup is at the MYA clinic in Nottingham where i live so luckily no far travelling for me. Keep me updated on your Post Op checkup 🙂

Totally normal babe! I’m 4wpo on Wednesday & I’m still slightly numb under both boobs & my swelling took about 10 days to subside x

I never realised swelling properly until day 3/4 is that normal? I’m currently sat with ice packs on ha! Xxx
