swelling on my nose!!!!!

hiya. i had a nose job on the 25th of april this year. but im still VERY swollen on my tip and between my eyes! it wont go down even after cold compresses. its still quite numb on the tip. by the sounds of things i didnt have a nice recovery. everyone keeps sayin how they were eating and talking after the op and some are even on this forum talking about it a day afyer their op. i couldnt move, talk or eat for about a week, i lost half a stone in that time and it was all a blur!!!! is their something wrong with me???? do u think i may hane an infection??? i do get a bit of pain in my nose now and again as well. i can hardly breath through my nose. xxxx

omg that sounds awful! Let us know how you get on this week. Is your swelling noticeable to people that don’t know you’ve had it done? Who was your surgeon?xxx

Katieg- I am so sorry to hear this, you know we sometimes react to things in different ways. Have you spoken to MYA? what do they advise? I am very worried about my op, but you know we can only hope for the best. The swelling can take up to 18months to fully go down apparently. I hope it starts to get better, but I would def be going back to MYA just for some peace of mind.

Hiya. Well I saw the nurse last friday but she didn’t really say anything about it. she didn’t seem that interested to be honest. I was only their for my photos. But still. Some people do notice so it worrys me. I’m seeing dr.G soon so I’ll ask him then. I’m not ot worried because I had a lot done but maybe its just me and my body!! I look chinese at the min because u can’t see my tear ducts at all, hope that doesn’t sound racist but I’m white and for me and my eyes that’s not my normal, just trying to explain what I look like lol! x anyone got any tips for swelling and healing????????

Hey Katie, you using Arnica (the cream or pills- i’m using cream and it feels really nice) and cold compresses/ice packs? You sleeping with your head up? How bruised were you in the first few days? Sorry……only obvious tips from me but i’ll let you know if i think of anything else xxxxxxxxxx
