Swimming and the Gym

Does anyone know how soon I can go swimming and to the gym after having the surgery? xxx

It’s supposed to be 6 weeks. I wouldn’t even think about stepping into a swimming pool until the incisions were completely healed – don’t want to risk infection!! xx

Yeah that’s what I thought. Going on holiday a few weeks after with my little boy… Guess mummy will have to watch from the side! xxx

I’m 7 weeks and my incicisons still aren’t healed so wouldn’t risk swimming.

The nurse told me i could do gym again at my 6 week check but it depends on how you are healing
