Swollen Lips after Open Rhinoplasty

Hi All, has anyone else had swollen lips after their Open Rhinoplasty, it’s really weird. xxx

Hi littlechelle, i had closed surgery and my top lip was really swollen!!! When i went for my 6 week check up i asked Dr.G about it and he said it was totaolly normal, it went down after about 2-3 months so dont worry!!! xx

same hear mine was swollen and numb also had no felling in my top teeth for about 2 weeks xx

Oh thank goodness guys, I thought I was being a weirdo…hehehe. I quite like it actually but they are a bit sore I’m sure it’s all worth it for a fab new nose xxx

Can’t believe how quickly I’ve swollen up!! Top lip a bit swollen but under my eyes and between my eyes are really puffy n swollen! Anyone else have this? X

Eat fresh pineapple honey, it helps with the swelling/ bruising. xxxx

Yes, that’s where majority of my swelling was..around the eyes, I keep slipping down at night so keep waking up with swelling around the eyes. Don’t worry, all normal and will go down soon x x

I look like a chipmunk with pouty lips…xxx

Glad you are o.k. Yes and my face felt really tight too for a while, I imagine it was like I’d had botox, didn’t have many facial expressions! Bloody brilliant, was like 2 for the price of one.
