taking off the sports bra…argh..

hi im 6 weeks post op today n i have waited for this day so i could wear a normal pushup bra, well firstly, im finding bra shopping a nightmare, i have bought various bras n taken them all back, i just cant get my boobs into the bra n feel comfortable, so im stuck with these sports bras, which i hate, but there reasonably comfy, well only just started been this last few days… im still sleeping in them, going to see what the nurse says week on monday, i have to find a bra before then, so back shopping tomorrow… i went out last night n dressed up for halloween so wore a basque,which squashed them in, which was not comfy at all, i hope it gets easier.. has anyone else had these problems..x

I wish i could atempt it, but i am only 3 weeks post op and the thought of pushing them together sends shivers up my spine, can’t wait untl i can though x x x

:bigsmile:I found Triumph very helpful, the staff measured me and couldnt do enough for me, there wasnt a great choice but i managed to get a lovely matching bra and thong set. Ive heard La senza are good for comfort, im going to try there soon,

oh i love them, would like them even more with a nice bra, lol.. i will keep looking.. they do push together now, with alot of help..x

I know exactly what you mean about bras not fitting right, the first time i wore bras after my 6 week mark my boobs were really achey and i felt like i was going to be stuck in my sports bra forever!! But i made sure i wore a normal bra for at least 6 hours a day and then by my 7 week mark i realised i was wearing a normal bra all day without discomfort so it will be fine it just takes time to get used to normal bras again, and i found that balcony bras fitted my boobs best when i first started wearing normal bras as your boobs just seem to sit in them comfortably,xx

OH YEH DEF!! IM HAVING THAT PROB NOW! I HAD MINE DONE 6 WEEKS AGO, AND IT FEEL SO UNCOMFORTABLE!! I THINK IV GOT SO USED TO THE SPOERTS BRA IT FEELS WIERED WEARING AN UNDERWIRE ONE. IM SAT HERE AT WORK AND THE BRA IM WEARING IS DIGGING INTO ME! IVE TRIED ALL THE CORRECT SIZES BUT STILL UNCOMFORTABLE!

hi went today n finally got some bras, i find the balcony ones do fit better, got them from la senza.. well im actually a bit scared of finally wearing one, will do as you say lui n wear only for a few hours, going to see the nurse next mon so think will wait till then..x
