Taking strapping off?

Hi girls when the nurse takes the strapping of do they use anything to make it no hurt or do they literally just peel it off? As I have had to trim my strapping already around the sides and just peeling a bit of killed me so am dredding it over my boobs if it’s like that! An tempted to go get the plaster removal spray? Xx

Last time I had mine removed it was 10 Yeats ago but they did cut and peel it off it didn’t hurt to much but I’m thinking this time around as my second op is a but more painful as I’ve gone bigger it’s gonna hurt I’ve also cut some of mine to make it more comfy til I have it off thurs x

Hey chick! I literally asked the same question when I was having mine removed, the thought of it was scaring me so much as mine was proper painful too. The nurses are so lovely and rub the sides with Zoff, and then use a scalpel type thing to help ease it off. the sticky parts are only at the sides and aren’t on the actual nipple or boob so that bit isn’t painful at all. Something to add though, ask for some of that Zoff stuff to take home so you can remove all the excess black sticky adhesive – its a nightmare! honestly I got so worked up about it but its not as bad as you think xx

It does hurt! Well it did me and I still have marks three months on where it burnt and pulled my skin off….but sweat a lot and those bits peel off easier!
