tan lotions!

Hi girls I was told at my pre op I can’t use sunbeds or fake tan two weeks before my op date but the body moisturiser I use is a gradual tanning one.. anyone know if I can still use this or would need to switch to a plain one? Xxx

Hi hun I am not sure I would defo avoid the boob area. I think tanning can cause risk to infection and sunbeds make the skin dry so not good when they are stretching over implants. Ring your nurse or pc to make sure hun x

I was told at my pre op i could still use a gradual tan moisturiser on my legs and arms so i just put one coat on on sunday for abit of a glow!

how long do we have to wait after our op before we can use sunbeds gernerally ? if we cover our boobies up ? xx

@rosao @amy03 thanks for the replies girls. I went to moisturise and was thinking hmm lol I’m okay for another two weeks yet anyway x

Yeah Hun just avoid from the neck down to your waist I was told I wear gradual tan too my op is Sunday I stopped using my gradual tan yesterday! Xxx

Just remember no moisturiser at all the day before op/ or after your last shower before op. And no deodrant too x
