Tape and Tits

Had mine done Sunday so I’m 5 days post op today. Feeling fine but I’m all taped up and it’s making me itch like crazy? Am I able to remove tape myself or do I have to wait til Monday when I go and see the nurse? also, Im worried about the way I’m sleeping. Got alot of pillows beneath me and my lovely v pillow I wouldn’t say I’m sitting upright but head and shoulders are elevated is this how I should be? Worried incase I get something wrong and it effects the shape of my boobies!!xxx

If you are sleeping with your head and shoulders elevated that should help to reduce the swelling,if the tape is really causing you discomfort I would contact the nurse for advise if I were you honey,they wont mind you calling that’s what they are there for,xxx

Thanks for the reply!! Yeah prob is the best idea to ring the nurse how long does the swelling usually take to go down? I’m so happy with them, don’t want them to get smaller lol xxx

The swelling varies honey from person to person,you can still have some swelling for a few weeks,when they soften and drop they tend to project more,mine did,lots of people worry about losing size when the swelling subsides,the trouble is you are seeing them swollen,until that subsides you wont actually get a clear picture of the size,and even then you wont see the end results for months as they change all the time,try not to worry too much,your only 5 days post op,lots of changes still to come.xxx

i cant wait to see the end result!! tbh i cant wait to see them properly when i get this bloody tape off haha thanks for the reply tina this forum is such a big help!!!x
