Well I’ve woken up 6 days PO and my tape had virtually peeled back, I unsuccessfully tried to make it stick, as the nurse at mya said I had to leave it on 7-10 days!!! However I’m sure at my pre op she said try to keep it on 4 days at least ??? Anyway put my MaCom on for the first time it doesn’t feel as supportive as the tape :-( just wondering how tight my straps should be? Like normal bra straps or pulled tighter for more compression?? Thank u xxx

In my opinion,(I have never worn a Macom btw )you should have the straps adjusted so that you feel that you are supported, but not so tight that the Macom is digging in to your skin and making you feel sore, you will still be swollen, some members have posted that they too felt a lack of support when the tape came of,but after a couple of day they got used to it,these bra’s are designed to support you honey, but if you are concerned about anything ring your nurse.xxx

Hun, i definitely didn’t feel as well supported in any of my sports bras as I did my tape!! I tried m and s ones, a shock absorber and some Cheapies from tesco!! Felt like I needed to hold my boobs everytime I got up or walked around but I spoke to some of the girls on here an they all said they felt the same too!! Think it’s mayb a shock of how heavy the new boobies are!! I’m 8days po and now finding my tesco cheapy the best bra ever lol!!! Don’t forget ur mayb a bit more heavy than u will be as ur still swollen too!!xx
