    Hey,

I’m due to have my tape removed tomorrow, I’m 8 days po. The thing is its really stuck on there and I’m really worried that it will really hurt when its removed.

Ive tried to peel bit off but it really hurts!!! Do they have some way of getting it off by using a solution or something??

I want it off so bad but I’m dreading it!!!

    Is it that bad???

    Thanks xx

I had mine off yesterday. My right side stuck a bit and was still raw. But it didn’t hurt as such. No worse than a plaster coming off.

Nurse wiped it clean put steristrips on both sides. I have to pull them off myself in a week. eeekkk

They dont use a solution, the nurse just asked if i wanted to do it myself or let her, i did it very slowly and it was ok not painful. The sticky residue it leaves is a nightmare tho cos it does wash off and takes ages to wear off itself!

I took mine off after 4 days. From mr kazzazi. And I’m not gonna lie it was the worst part of the whole experiance. I had water blisters from it and it took me my Mum and bf 2.5 hours to get it off. And that was using an adhesive remover. God knows what it would of been like if I had left it for nurse to take off!!!! I literally thought my skin and boobs were going to rip off!! Sorry but honest :) and the residue took about a week to get off slowing peeling it off everyday xxx

The tape removal hurts more than any other part of the BA experience, they do use alcohol wipes to help with removal x

I’m just refering to the sensation when my tiny incisio. Tape and plasters came off not full taping…either way when no plasters, tape etc they do feel little more sensitive but it quickly will go:)
