Tapeee off yayyy

Hi girls little update!!! Had tape off earlier and see 2 nurses and a surgeon about ny right boob not looking or feeling right, he said it is very swallowen and got to call back in a week if still in pain, so happy to have tape off but it’s really left bad marks even drew blood oucchhhh!!! But very happy with my boobs and finally can see them thank u girls for all ur support xx

awww thats great hun, hopefully ur right boob will heal much better now u have the tape off xx

hey sexy lady woooooooo!! apparently the tape can cause irritation, my nurse said if its really bad you can request to take it off early. bless ya im soooo glad you are happy!! hows it feeling now? x x x

OOh why guys- what can the tape do? My left boob is so stiff and tight like it wants to pop out of a tight pair of jeans- its much sorer under the arm than my other and pulls near the chest area like a muscle is stretching- anyone else had this??

Yay glad you’re ok hun! Maybe it was just the tightness of the tape. My surgeon-mr adamo doesnt use it, he just uses plasters but I guess they all have their own ways. Fingers crossed they will start to settle for you now. Enjoy them!! xx

you’ll find once tape is off and past 1st week swelling will come down quite a bit, i’m sure the tape was part of the problem. I to had one much bigger than the other and much more painful, but still bigger but not as painful and not as apparrent as it was 3 1/2 weeks now. relax bur keep arms moving on that side i was told that it helps fluid draon away. My right side was fine, the left was swollen and sore. The nurse said its probably because i’m right handed and do more on that side the fluid has drained more, and because the other side hurt you naturally restrict movments which can make the problem worse. I took her advise and it really did help. xx

Completly off the point but before you start driving again do the gears on the drive while stationary to make sure you can do them all. I went to asda 10 days post op and in the snow and the drive there was a bit uncomfortable but manageable. but when i had to reverse park it made me scream out in pain and brought tears to my eyes (and i have a high pain threshold). I then left it a few days extra.

oooooh good! I was worryin about you today cos I read you were having your bandages off!! I think exesse makes some very good points so make sure you follow her advice. Im sooo nervous now, 2 weeks Friday, the days are getting quicker and quicker eeek. Let me know when you’ve got your pics up wooo cant wait to see them. You had Mr. K right?x x

Thank u for advice ladies, going to keep an eye on it, ohhh fawn these 2 weeks will fly byyyyyyy Hun, bet ur very excited don’t be nervous either honest the whole day goes so quick and your ao looked after at the hospital. Yeah I had mr k, he was really good and knows his stuff. Ur in and out of theatre so quick it’s mad .computer havin a mind of it’s own will try again some point today.
