tapes

Hey, im 4 days post op and have these huge tapes strapped to my body. When can these be taken off, as they are itchy and sweaty, yukk!

you usually have them taken of about 7 days when you see nurse first appointment after op i loosened mine around top and bottom on the morning of having them removed they came of easier the nurse said youll feel much better and be able to move more once they are of x

My nurse phoned me and said I could take them off after 4 days if I felt I needed to so that was what I did but you have to make sure you don’t pull the dressings off rhea are over your stitches when you do it. X x
