tapes too tight??

hey girls,
had my op on monday and im still in quite a bit pain however it does not seem to be from op but more so the taping. Its really high under my arms and feels like its cutting in also very sore where drains were removed and tape put over. Overall it feels very tight its ok if im sitting o lying with a pillow but as soon as my backs unsupported the tightness makes it very hard to breathe. Feeling ok in myself although i was off food for first few days which made me be sick early yesterday morning, trying to stay off cocodamol and just take ibuprofen and antib’s and 1 cocodamol before bed as felt really tired on them xx

I had my op monday too and am feeling exactly the same!tapes are very tight!!they’re supposed to be that way unfortunately!just look forward to the day they come off I’ve stopped my co codomol to as they give me stomach ache!xxx

mine were the same!! so i just pulled them off!! and i thought there would be two gaping holes under my arms , but all they were, were 2 tiny teeny scratches!! made me laugh!

they did my head in! and i could smell my sweat on them, yuk!
so i took them off. When i went to see the nurse to change my dressings, i thought id get told off, but she said it was fine! but i had other taping all around my nipples and down! as i had uplift, which had to be left for the nurse.

hi all i had ba on 18th was feeling terrible all week antibiotics and co codomols making me so ill severe stomach pains.only on paracetemols now .only feeling better today tapes off today .i found as my swelling an numbness eased the tapes felt worse so tight when i was walking from station to clinic this morming.but now they are nomore boobs look great swollen and tender but i can move now .happy healing girls take care tracy xx

cant wait to get them off have to wait until tues my shoulders are practically at my ears coz it hurts more putting them down iv been feeling my ribs down the side and even just around start of bk and they feel very painful must be off the drains hope im not black and blue xx

Hi all, I had by ba on Tuesday and when my nurse called me she said I could take dressing around me off after 4 days, I took the top part off yesterday as I had got brusing around the top of it under my arm pit where it was pretty tight. Where about do they put the drains in?

It is strange how some surgeons tape up. Cus my just gave me tiny and i mean tiny dressing on the incision area, n my nurse said she doesnt really understand y different surgeons do different things lol.x

Yes I agree, I think it is only mr Singh that makes his own sports bra for you, I did like it though as I felt really well supported for my journey home. X x
