taping the nose?

I had my cast removed 2 weeks ago and was just wondering when everyone started putting tape on there nose to reduce swelling? X

Straight after having my cast off as far as I remember x

Cheers hun, I’ll put it on tonight, my nose is still so swollen, my nose don’t look much different to before with how swollen it actually is (I’m hoping anyway) x

how do you put the tape on yourself, straight after cast removal – does it not hurt or feel weird. :-/ i’d b so scared to do anything, sucha wimp

I don’t remember it being too painful it was 2 and half years ago since I had mine done seems like ages ago now! But just put the tape on carefully and I remember it feeling safer and more secure with the tape on after just having the cast off xx

Mine didn’t hurt, but then again I had my cast off nearly 3 weeks ago, nobody told me about the tape otherwise I would have done it as a soon as my cast came off, but I suppose better late then never, I watched a clip on you tube which helped me to know how to put It on, going to do the tape a different way tonight and see how I get on sleeping with it on x
