Tax on surgery :/

I heard on the news yday that their on about adding tax onto cosmetic surgery procedures. Meaning that you’d be having to pay around an extra grand on top of what your already paying

Does anyone know if this is actually goin to happen? (I was only half listening as I was driving and I’m shite at multitasking)

Really hope they won’t, I’m struggling with saving the normal amount enough as it is xx

I didn’t hear it but my hubby said I got in just in time so whether it’s a dead cert I don’t know x if for medical reasons I don’t think there would be tax.

Hi I spoke to my pc today about it she said MYA don’t have much info on it yet but anyone already given a price they would not be charged anymore, I was wanting to do a late space but dates were going fast and I didnt want to run the risk of leaving it too late and paying £1000 instead of £250, I booked it for Jan and paid most of it off I’m financing £2000 of it so I won’t be charged anymore x

I personaly think if we are paying now or saving this YEAR it shouldn’t affect us girls or men only if you start paying or saving next year MYA MODERATEOR do you think this is fare what I am trying to say for all us girls and men xxx

I think it should be means tested lol. I know surgery is a luxury but the celebs can afford to pay higher tax we can’t!!!

I really hope they don’t add it on anytime soon. Most people have surgery because of being unhappy n to help with confidence, would be abit of a shitter to make it more hard to get xx

its a joke! i cant believe they are going to do this. I’m starting to really hate this country!! what else are they going to take away from us?

I guess you could call it a luxury for the celebs, but for us it is more than that,

the majority of people have cosmetic surgery because they have genuine issues with their bodies and they work very hard saving up for the surgery and it is a life changing thing,we arent bothering anyone else by having surgery so they should just keep their obviously lucky perfectly formed noses out of our business!
