I would not recommend taking a bus, I’ve never gotten on one but I can imagine that they would be busy and that you would have to walk a fair distance to get to the bus stop from the hospital. In your info pack it should say that you aren’t allowed to take public transport; if you are not being met by a responsible adult then they may insist that you stay overnight. I live in London too but I have a driver so that wasn’t an issue xx
