Three words ladies…..Memory foam mattress!! GOD SEND!! Sorry that;s probably not the most constructive post but I found it helped to eleviate the numb bum and offered lots of support! I have woke up every morning so far pretty much flat where I’ve slid and wiggled down in my sleep, it’s just my head thats propped up! I have finally had some sleep on my side but I’m itching to sleep on my front again!!
I hope you get some sleep and are healing well hun!!
xxx
OMG Charlotte yes I agree.. I have memory foam mattress, memory foam pillows and a memory foam v pillow. Anchovie, I had no idea it was that bad for you
You need to get as much of the above as you can. Honestly I am really lucky I can sleep anywhere and I know I have been very very lucky. I have managed to sleep at least nine hours per night. If all else fails try and set up your pillows in an upside down v shape and layer them up – see if that helps. xxxxxx
or hun hope ur feeling better sn, ive got all dis 2 cum, sorry i cant even give u any advice xxx
And grubby paws keeps me awake too anna1979. Lol xx
OMG Anna, I’ve missed a trick here, a memory foam V pillow!!!! I feel so robbed with my standard V pillow and I literally do feel robbed as my boyf often tries to to steal it!!! Haha xxx
Hey Charlotte, Dunelm Mill about £35 but worth every penny! Bf poo pooed my pillow but has now gone to get one for himself and renamed it his ‘gaming pollow’ lol. I recommend anyone getting one.. Wonder if that’s also y I’m healing so bloody quickly too and have had no pain?! Hmmmmm…. Anchovie you need to slap away those grubby wandering hands lol xxxxx
Thank you very muchly!! You have done well!! Haha, I love it – his gaming pillow!! xxx
I slept flat from about day 3 – a bit naughty but I couldn’t handle it! I just threw a huge strop in the middle of the night, threw all the pillows off the bed and slid down – it felt so good!
Painful in the morning though, physically couldn’t lift myself up, had to do some crazy manoeuvre (basically just let myself fall out of bed) haha. And as soon as I got upright I felt the implants plop back into place, ew!
Hee hee!! I must hav slept better last night!!! I feel better!!!!! Yay!!!! oh and no grubbies last night Anna!!!!!!haha and gaming pillow quarries he mean!!! Lol I love the people on here!!!!

I feel like a child who doesnt want to fall asleep because of nightmare or something lol when it comes to night time i feel really weird and homesick in a way even though i AM at home
Hope you can sleep properly very soon hun
Wish u all the best xxx
ive had very little pain …but my first boob job i did sleep propped up as it hurt to lift myself up in the mornings …i have a v pillow and have found myself laying on my side and slightly propped…i think its because of the strain of getting up that they recommend you prop yourself up …big hugs as it is grim when you feel you have not slept xxx
Why do u have to sleep upright after your op??
Is it so they stay in the right place? X
Hey emilyjane, yes I bought it about a month ago and my bf bought his more recently than that! I’m sure you will love it as much as I love mine xx
Emma23jade, you need to sleep upright so that the implants can settle.. they need time to get use to their new home and for the tissue and muscle around them to get used to each other ha ha. I have noticed if I move too quickly when I am washing my hair over the bath I can feel the implant move, such a weird feeling! Must stay upright for as long as possible!! xx
The other thing I would recommend is strengthening your tummy muscles before the op, as the more you can engage those and use them to sit up, the less of a strain you put on the rest of your body – ie your chest and arms xx
Anna1979 now that is a bloody good tip! xx
