Sorry this is really off the boob subject! Does any one have there teeth done? and whats less sensitive bleach or laser? my husband sais i can get it done as i have quit smoking :-) xx Do you think its better to get dentist to do it or salon?x

I had them done not long ago. Got deal on Groupon. They put a gel on and then like a UV light over. They did 3 lots of 10 minutes. NEVER again. It didn’t hurt while they were doing it and NEVER had sensitive teeth before BUT now… They are really sensitive. The first 24 hours was unbearable. I would have my boobs done 10x over then have my teeth done again!

I have bleached mine and apparently the Laser leaves the teeth much more sensitive… I would ask my dentist initially, the bleach is a slower process but you get the same result I think and you can re do it every year. My friend had laser and tbh, mine are whiter. :) x

I used to be a dental nurse and we always told our patients to go for the home whitening kit as you’d need to top up the laser results with a home kit anyway. Unless you’re looking for an instant result but even the home kit shows results within days. It’s so much cheaper and once you have the trays made, you have them forever and all you need is bleach which is included in the price, but when you’ve used it up, you can get more for about £15 x

When I was at the dentist it was £250, that was 2 years ago, it includes trays moulded to your teeth/mouth shape and about 5 tubes of bleach which can last 6 months to a year depending on how often you do it x

    Hey!

Crest Whitening Strips are so so so good, they are a home kit and literally are just strips you put on for 30 mins twice a day for about 2-3 weeks! Can get different strengths, my bf got the strongest ones as he is a smoker and his teeth are really pretty white now! I paid £350 to have mine done professionally on Harley Street in London but the strips are so much better! Search them on google and they should come up! Really good price too!!

    Hope this helps!

My bleaching set cost around £180 from my dentist I got the trays and enough bleach to last at least a month if not more but you only need to use it for two weeks to start off with. my teeth started to look really bright after about 4 days, by the end of the two week course I was really happy. Now I just top it off prior to a special event for four days and they ping back up again…simples.

My mates whitening was so sensitive that after she went back to work as she got it done in her lunch break, she had to be sent home as she was is so much pain. x

my firend recently had hers doen at a dentist, she had white spots over her teeth, looks horrible, and she was in constant pain, she said it was like her gums were on fire this was after and the next day, it really put me off doing it :-(

    Menu

Emilyjane11, was this laser that your mate had? :(

    Menu

Sorry girls haven’t read all these threads but my friend is a dental nurse and she said they charge about £250 and it only actually costs the dentist about 15 quid!!

That put me off straight away! I use Dr George’s Dental White. For one 148g Whittening gel, 2 custom trays and syringe it’s about £30 ish.

You do it about 2 times a day and leave on for half an hour and do this for 2 weeks and the difference is brilliant.

Im a smoker and tea drinker and i’ve had sooo many people comment on my teeth since using it. Maybe worth a shot. Dentist’s are just a rip off! :-) x
