telling family?

Have any of you got away with not telling them? My mum, dad and boyfriend know but im not sure I want to tell any of the rest, its not that they wont support me its just I feel like jelous comments might be made, ive wanted them for so many years and I turn 21 in december and my op is 20th jan, its a birthday present to myself and with my nan being terminally ill im scared to tell her just the fact im putting my life at risk kind of and she has no option on hers.. 🙁 its the only thing putting me off but ive wanted it for so long :-/ im only having 300cc hp from a 32a so I dont think they will look massive in clothes anyway, have any of you kept it a secret or?:-/ x

I haven’t had my op yet but I’m booked in for December for 350cc from a 32A/30B, I’ve told my parents and sister only and don’t plan on telling anyone else. I feel like it wont be to noticeable because I currently wear really padded bras, just go with what you feel comfortable with I would say, if you decide not to tell people I’m sure you will be able to get away with it xx

Im the same I wear really padded bras now too and never wear revealing clothes so I might just get away with it, just think it will be noticable on holiday photos if u know what I mean no hiding them then, but I guess they wont be massive so I duno haha when I told my dad he just said he knew it would happen one day since ive wanted one forever and if it makes me happy then hes happy which was nice xx

Thanks! Yeah I know what you mean, I think I will be careful about sharing holiday photos. That’s good that your family are been supportive, mine keep telling me its a mistake and a waste of money but I know its not for me and will make sure a difference to my confidence xx

Im not telling any of my Family …. my mum and dad are old fashioned and when ive mentioned it before they managed to talk me out of it. I haven’t told many people just a handful of friends and a few work colleagues due to me working in a bar part time I had to re no heavy lifting etc. Im having 400cc/425cc (might go up to 450cc) I also wear padded bras and chicken fillets haha Luckily I don’t live with my parents so that makes things easier. xx

See thats where im lucky my mum and dad are so laid back they would never try and stop me, my mums even said she will buy me some new bras after, I do feel sorry for you tho not being to tell them, but if u dont live with them then I guess thats better cause they wont notice u being in pain ect, ive had to tell some people at work so I could get the time off but other than that ive only told 3 people, ur lucky with them sizes im aloud 300cc maximum! Haha xx

I only told my mum and sister, not my dad or the rest of the family, for no other reason than I just don’t want the fuss. I’m 8 days PO so far and no one has noticed and I’ve seen my dad and family! haha I live with my sister so I just avoided everyone for the 1st 5 days and hid at my house and then wore loose clothing when I saw them. i’m back at work and no one has noticed either, I’m wearing loose clothing. i used to wear really padded bras so theres not much change, I was a 32B/C and have had 400cc HP unders. xxxx

Haha @Ayesha!! Ive got quiet old parents, they are both in their 60’s and im 22! (23 in March) and unfortunately I don’t feel like I can talk to them bcos they will only stress me out more! I want to tell them I just feel like I cant. They don’t even know about my tattoo!! Ive had it a Year and a half LOL I think if I told them they’d get over it some day but id rather not maybe after I’m recovered. I am quiet small on top too so I was surprised but then again I have quiet a big rib cage at nearly 32 inches so hopefully I will look some what in proportion 🙂 xx

Jess not say a word till u need to maybe when your in 30s you spit out over a family Sunday dinner that’s we do in our family things always come out years after it’s been done lol my partners mum n dad are in there 70s and my partner told me them over Sunday lunch lol x

haha good idea although we are planning a family holiday with my older brothers, nieces and nephews either next year or the year after … doubt id be able to hide them then!! lol xx

@Ayesha hahaha I thought about this option! On the plus side I changed my contraception last month, blame that for my boob growth!! lol xx
