Telling people about op?

I personally have had to tell people what I am doing as I am a self employed beauty therapist so had to let clients know why I’d be off of work for 2 weeks 🙂 And even wrote on my facebook status “cant wait until my operation!” I’m so comfortable about having it done but does everyone think this is okay lol? I dont know whether its meant to be socially acceptable to announce you’re having your boobies done in few other words haha! x

Mind you if you went on embarrassing bodies I’m sure a few people know about it now anyway! 🙂

I’d shout it out from the rooftops if I was you hun. Tell everyone that way they will understand when you don’t want to make plans with them for at least 4 weeks whilst your recovering haha.
I work with mainly guys… Soooo I haven’t told many people at work.
I’m going for the element of surprise with most.

Really glad you both feel the same thanks girlies!! 🙂 I personally havent been on embarassing bodies Nicole (That is one thing I could not ever bring myself to do lol!) but the exact same case with my boobies was on there and that’s when I decided enough was enough! Really exciting times I cant hold in how excited I am it’s too hard not to tell anyone ahah! x

I tell everyone lol I’ve had a few unaproveing looks from some but I’m not bothered by it, be proud xx

I’m having to tell a few soon as made some friends at the gym, going to have to put the gym on hold and how do I explain that:)
Plus people will notice, I’m going almost double the size! Might as well tell rather than give them reason to gossip:) they will anyway but on my terms;)

I tell anyone and everyone lol, I’m so excited!! Lol.. plus like someone else has said, I’d hate people to be gossiping about it so I’d sooner be open with them & be proud! It’s not like people won’t notice haha.. The only thing that makes me feel uncomfortable is my fellas mates coming round and asking me every time they see me, how long it is until my op & what size I’m going 2 etc 🙁 ladies I don’t mind being open with, but guys is a bit awkward xxxx!
