tender nipples 4 months on

I had my BA in Jan 2010 and recently my right nipple is feeling quite tender and a little bit sensitive to touch. I had really sensitive nipples shortly after surgery but I knew this was normal but just wondering if anyone else had it where it starts up again? Its nowhere near as bad but a bit worrying as they’ve been fine for ages.
