Tenderness?? 3weeks post op????

Hi ladies.. I’m 3 weeks post op, had no major probs and healed pretty well. Wish I had maybe gone slightly bigger, but hey, from what I had before I feel 100 times better.. I have one slight prob, my nipples and surrounding area is very sensitive!! When I take off my sports bra I feel relieved but also very tender. Is this normal? And how long will this last??? X

I’m the same! Just over 3 weeks post op and it’s passing, only my nipples are sensitive now. My whole boob was only REALLY sensitive for a few days. My nurse said it happens when the nerves are reconnecting and working again so it’s normal/good sign. xx

Thanks izzy.. That’s good to hear, I dread to take off this bra and if anyone comes within a foot of me I think I could kill.. Lol. Other than that I’m happy. Xx
