I took paracetamol and ibuprofen – worked great. The ibuprofen especially helped with the muscle ache. The hospital did offer to give me some cocodamol but I didn’t want those since I’d had them before and they just bunged me up!! XxoX
lol i saw her on tuesday, she seems really nice, she put me at ease when she saw i was nervous bout her taking my before op pics lol i didnt wanna get my bee stings out lol x
They dont recommend ibuprofen cos it thin bloods like aspirins
id asked if i would be able to take nurofen meltlets and the nurse said no
im gutted x
no neurofen? that’s the only thing that works for me!!
xx
I was recommended to take ibuprofen by my PS! He said that its blood thinning effect is much less than aspirin so he had no problem with it. As we’ve often found, all the surgeons have their own preferences!! xXox
thats the only thing that works for me too bethy20
just hope i can persuade the nurses at the hosp to let me take them, the nurse at mya did say to take a list of the meds i have at home into the hosp with me to see what was suitable to take x
