Just thought i’d post to share my superb aftercare that MYA have provided me with. Often see alot of negative comments so i want to tell everyone that I have received really good care and support over the last week since i started having problems with my dissolving stitches.
started havng probelms last week with my left nipple. The emergency nurse was fantastic giving me advice and explaining what was happening. I was given an appt the very next day at manchester clinic to see nurse despite the clinic being fully booked, they squeezed me in.
Imogen and the other lovely nurse (forgot her name) have looked after me well explaining how the stitches can sometimes take too long to dissolve and so the body tries to reject them hence the irritation at the site of the stitch. My right nipple started with the same problem yesterday and i couldnt get in the manchester clinic to be double checked today due to the nurses being off sick. I did however just get a lovely call via mya mod by Leanne, a nurse from the leeds clinic who gave me some advice over the phone until i can see the manchester nurses.
Despite not getting an appt today, I feel looked after and I feel I am getting the aftercare I expect.
