I know a lot of girls are upset and confused at present, but this situation is unavoidable, and I personally would like to thank my PC Julie, and MYA mod, plus a few special ladies on here, for stepping up in this crisis.

I’m in the same boat as some of you, not happy with my results, and was due to see mario again, but that can’t happen until the GMC have completed their investigation, my PC has phoned on her days off, asked the nurse to ring, and has assured me 100% I will be seen by one of MYA’s other great surgeons, I just fall in the queue behind the girls due their ops in the coming weeks, as they rightly so have priority

MYA always come well in a crisis, and this is why I choose them (even when I’d been unhappy in the past, but that was their communication skills lacking over anything else) xx

Very true, I think every has a right to panic a little and be upset but they are doin what they can to help and reassure everyone! Hope you get sorted very soon Joanna X

I am not too sure what the situation is at the min with the ops being cancelled but I totally agree. It’s must be really hard for the girls who have had cancelled ops, I too would be deverstated.

I have had a really good service with MYA, my pc is really good, calls me regular to see am ok and make sure I have all appointments. Any concerns I have/had were sorted really quickly.

I am sure MYA are doing all they can at the minute To resolve this.

Natty I had mario Russo in January, and I’m not happy because my boobs haven’t dropped, and they are still really firm and hurt if I lie on them, also my scars are red, bumpy and horrid, and not the nice little thin lines mario is well known for. I had asked to see him again, and was told on tues this wouldn’t be a prob, obviously I have found out it now is, so I’m happy to see someone else, as all MYA’s surgeons are great, including mario.

The GMC can suspend a licence for very little reason, and their ‘fitness’ to practise has a massive spectrum or reasons, but we aren’t allowed to talk about it while the investigation goes ahead.

Everyone who has their op’s will have their surgeons changed or money back, whichever they choose, and it will be an upheaval for a few weeks, but I’m certain MYA will pull through, and depending on the investigation, either welcome mario back, or take someone else as amazing as he is xx
