The after pain!??

Heyyy everyone thee day is tommorow and i am waaay tooo excited!

but very nervous of waking up in really bad pain, he kinda scared me more because he said i have never been in this sort of pain i will feel after this cos i have never had a child etc!

just woundering what its like afterwards? one of my friends told me its like having an elephant on you! eeek! and how long till you can do something or nip out somewere?.. my friend is wanting me to come meet him practically a week after my surgery cos hes back for the week just hoping i can xxx

You’ll be doped up on painkillers so it’ll take the edge of. I think looking down and seeing your new boobs will also take the edge off the pain.

Don’t worry too much, you’ll be just fine. If Jordan can do it, we can do it too!

I would say to your friend that you will try but don’t make arrangements just yet. Have plenty rest and see how you feel nearer the time.

Unders are more painful but hey. The first day will be the worst, then your over that day… then you take on the next day with as much enthusiasm. Why is that? Because you look down and see how great you look. It’s worth every penny, it’s worth every twinge because when your lying on the beach looking a million dollars…. thats priceless.

Hey i wouldnt descrbe it as pain. Its a dull heavy ache! Dont.worry if i can do it u will too!! Just feels.like you have the seven dwarfs sat on ur chest for around a week lol xx

Carla im going to be honest. I had unders 3 days ago and they are painful. It feels like there is 100 people standing on your chest and I found it quite hard to breath so had to take shallow breaaths.

A few girls on here say day 3 is the worst but im on day 3 today and i personally would say it was the day after the op that was worse for me. You do get used to it and although im not so much in pain today it is uncomfortable and they are rock hard and almost contracting today.

After surgery though you are so so tired that all you want to do is sleep and keep up with the pain killers. It WILL all be worth it for a life time of happiness x

Sorry for being quiet blunt about it just prefer honesty. Your pain thresh hold maybe alot better than mine though hun x

eee i knoow i just banged my toe on door earlier and wanted to cry! lol eee im sooo excited but actually realising about how im gonna feel afterwards now, oo bring on my august holiday when all will be over and i can be on that beach! ha ha xxx

Hi Carla. I had unders 4 weeks ago and when I woke from the op I could feel the pain but the elation of my boobs just had me grinning. They had pumped me with morphine during the op and it took a couple of hours for the morphine to really kick in and when it did I was up tidying the hospital room and doing my nails! And I have a really low pain threshold and haven’t had kids. Day 3 was the worst, that’s when the pain hit. But it was bearable, I just stayed in bed all day and didn’t move. And then it was downhill from there. I was out and about on the 5th day. I was driving after a week. Don’t worry one little bit. If I could do it all again I would as it’s such an amazing experience. X

Hi ladies, I am in a week today and absolutely shitting myself.. I am awful with any pain, no kids and panicking that I am not going to be able to go back to work after a week. Someone please please please put my mind at rest… I can’t take any more anxiety dreams tonight about pain and suffering lol xx

Anna, read my post above yours. Seriously, I am the biggest wimp. I passed out when I went to get a coil fitted cos of the pain. I’d go through a boob job ten times over, no problem at all. X

Thanks Lisa OMG I had the coil fitted too and it was HORRIFIC! Lol.. just been chatting to my bf and he’s made me feel a little better…. I am just so worried too about being back at work a week later. I have a massive project that starts the day I get back so need to ensure I’m feeling tickety boo xx

If that’s the case Anna, then try your best to sleep as much as you can on your week off. I believe that the amount of rest and sleep I had really speeded up my recovery. Be as lazy as you can. Other people may recommend otherwise. Some girls recommend trying to keep slightly active. But if you’ve only got a week off I wouldn’t risk doing anything you don’t have to. You’ll be fine. X

Ooo im gonna be as lazy as poss! i am at the mo as currently waiting to start a teaching assistant job but that obvs starts after easter hols! woo! plenty of rest for me!

I lay in bed and watched a full box set of brothers and sisters! 21 hours of it over a few days with sleeps in between! I’m usually very active but took full advantage of the rest and loved it. X

Aw yeahh dont blame you! im gonna hunt out a few films and relax with lotsss of cuppa teas! ha ha cant live without them! gonna have my final brew now cos have to drink only water from around 9ish she said bedtime so im assuming around that even tho i dont actually go to bed till stupid o clock! x

You can drink tea till 6 hours before your hospital admission time hun. Think it’s 6 hours – have a look in your pack at the yellow bit of paper with all the do’s and donts. Good luck!!!!! X

Heya I had overs this morning feeling good now. When I cam round after op the pain hit me like a ton bricks lol and I had a bad effect from anesthetic. But I had two I.jections and it got rid of it all such. A relief it is a dull ache exactly. Ive never had children and I am to scared to have a tatoo, but it is not as bad as u may think but I’m only on day 1 lol. I found copin with the heat in my room all day I had to strip off to my knickers as I was just roasting sun shone into room all day lol good luck and just got for.it that’s What I say ssh

Thanks Lisa, all I’m planning on doing for the whole week is lying around at my boyfriend’s place. We’re pretty lazy when were together so he’s going to love the excuse to make me watch the Wire from the very beginning… I don’t plan on leaving his during that week, driving, or anything else. Just lots of rest and yes making cuppas – I love a brew too Carla! xx

Ooo dear, ive just read the yellow paper and it says no fake tan 7days before, i put fake tan on friday but that was the last time, you reckon that will be oki? xxx

Just give yourself a good scrub in the shower in the morning so you exfoliate it all off! Will be fine. X
