    Hiya girls ! =)

I am currrently on the pill but want to change to the implant. Will I have to have it removed for my BA?

If so I may aswel just wait until after to get it fitted!

Hi chichi2, im glad u asked this question as i have the implant in n didnt know wether to take it ot or not, i would only advise to have it in after the op cos i had a few teething problems with mine wen i first had it in, i was constantly cryin n felt really down, had terrible back ache i saw every day for 4 months, if i had to go through all that whilst recovering i dont think i could cope, but they do say everyone is different, so maybe it was just me, but it has all settled down now n im lookin forward to my op. :D

Had the implant for just over a year. It made my hormones haywire and I once had a period for a month solid. It’s different with everyone! Big up the mini pill!! No periods lol.

You can have it in for the op though so no worries there. I’d advise your PC when your thinking about getting it inserted into your arm. Just so they are aware. Better to be safe.

I have no periods with my implant. Bout 1 a yr!! Tiny spotting though. I also think its a load of.poo bout the weight gain. I lost weight which iw also a side effect. Long as u dont eat more than nomal u wont gain weigh as there is nothing in the implant to make u gain weight. Ive had it 5yrs.

Didnt have to take it out for my op either xx
