Just keep seeing people who dont know the difference between the two, or keep messaging me asking, because i had the inspira responsives. So just thought it would be handy for people if i posted this..
Most surgeons dont mention the inspira range, unless u ask about them. I did my research before my op and decided i wanted to pay the extra for these implants.
The natrelle inspira range are still allergan the company that do the standard CUI’s bt the inspiras are ther ’premium’ range, also wot i believe to be the best on the market after doin research.
They have ’an additional layer of safety, for an added sense of security. The patented INTRASHIEL™ Barrier Technology is an additional safety barrier layer designed to minimize silicone gel diffusion. The unique shell design is composed of several high-performance silicone elastomer layers for enhanced shell integrity.’
Therefore if the implant ruptures (which there is only 1% chance) the silicone cannot leak into your body.
’The surface of an implant can either be smooth or come with BIOCELL™ texturisation. The textured range of breast implants in the Natrelle™ Collection feature a unique, proprietary surface texture technology known as BIOCELL™. BIOCELL™ technology gives superior tissue adherence, which helps maintain proper implant position within the breast. Clinical data also suggests that ALLERGAN’s BIOCELL™ Texture is generally effective in reducing the incidence of side effects like implant rotation and capsular contracture. Whether you and your surgeon choose textured or smooth implants, you won’t feel the texture or smoothness, as your own tissue will lie above the implant.’
The chances or capsular contracture and rippling are reduced and have little chance of occuring.
Plus they have a lifetime guarantee that covers the implant which made me think if the company are confident enough to tag these implants with that statement, they must be good! They are also FDA and EU approved, the CUI’s are not FDA approved.
When i went to my surgeon gary traynor, i told him i wanted as natural look as poss, with a slope and not the rounded look, i had it in my head that i wanted teardrop natrelle soft touch. he told me he believes teardrops (anatomicals)can have a lot of complications and just doesnt like to use them, so he suggested the round responsives, they are the least cohesive of the inspira range, the next being the soft touch which are slightly firmer. If you was to hold a responsive implant up by the edge, the silicone gel slightly falls to the bottom to achieve the natural slope. he also said these wud be best as im young and as i get older they wil act like my natural breast tissue.
Im sooo happy i went with his recommendation nw, i love them! they fall fab, jst how i wanted, and look so natural! depending on your current breast tissue, a surgeon may recommend the soft touch.
Hope this is of some help to people
xx
I dont want this to put anyone off CUI’s by the way! a lot of surgeons say they are just as good quality and i know a lot of girls that have had them and are over the moon with how soft they are etc, so im not saying there is anything wrong with them.
It was just my personal preference, and because i wanted them to be very natural looking.
xx
Thanks hun, this is really helpful! Wish the surgeons would just discuss the different types of implants at the consultation xx
very helpful!! i hope you dont mind ive sent you a request so i can have a peek!! also how much extra did you pay? x
Thanks chick I did ask if there was anything with a longer guarantee n mr k said nothing all kind of implants last 10-16 yrs so does this mean urs will last forever then n not need another op down the line?? Sorryfor all the questions just I was happy with the price n willing to pay more for the best stuff n got told there was no better options!! Sorry for all questions just confused now xx
andi i paid £306 extra!
lexie it doesnt mean the implants will last forever, because anything can happen. they could last 5 or 35 years, but it means that the company believe they are of good enough quality to, as the CUIs have 10 year guarantee. But if anything happens and u need a re-op after your aftercare with mya expires, the price of the implant would be covered, so its only like £300 but ive heard that if it happens in the first 15 years u get £700 towards surgery costs too, dont know how true that is. But i was just happy with the fact allergan feel they are confident enough to say they have lifetime guarantee. xx
£306? thats really not a lot for the extra quality. Im having Mr Trayner and also want the natural look so im deffo going to ask about these x
I just think it’s so much money anyways n so important that an extra couple of hundred is well worth it!!! Did u have overs or unders to coz ur pics are fab hunni xx
yeaa thats what i thought, not that much at all is it when your already paying thousands! thanks hun! i had 345 med/high profile overs. xx
Everyones pics that I see n think look brill are overs but I just seem to have it in my head I wanted unders so confusing def gonna be ringing up about these implants tho x
Hi chels, these were the implants that I had too. My surgeon was fab and explained all the types of imlants at our consultation and he really rated the natrelle inspira. When did yours drop and what size did you go for?
Soz chels just read above post!
i was 34b and now 34e and they dropped pretty early really, felt really soft from around 2/3 weeks xx
Ah good. I’m 13 days po and they have just started to soften and drop a little today. I was just getting a bit worried as they are still a bit odd shaped! X
dont worry hun, they change drastically daily, by 4 weeks mine were perfect or so i thought and then by 6 weeks they moved so much more and i loved them even more haha. and now at 6 months they are amazing! haha. it just takes time, but u will notice changes every day for a good few months, and each boob is different remember so one might drop before the other. just be patient hun. hope your healing well xx
Chelsxx you were amazing before my op -totally clued me up! -even though I went for anatomical soft touch
– partly because I am that scrawny lol and kinda needed them; my surgeon [MR ADAMO] specialises in anatomicals [this is what I was told by him] therefore the risks were a lot lower of turning i.e he has seen 1 case [apparently after 3 weeks post op someone had a rough sex romp lol]
Anatomicals are more popular than CUI’s in europe so as an italian surgeon he does more of this type in Italy then the UK by a long way.
I would recommend the anatomicals as the slope is more defined then the responsives so if you have bugger all breast tissue they are the best for that kind of body.
***BUT*** if your surgeon is not confident is using anatomicals [as the pocket has to be so precise] I would not go for them as the risk of turning is greatly increased.
xx
If you go over 525cc you have to have inspira responsives and pay extra. My friend had them as she had 700cc 5 months ago. She is really happy with results but so am I to be honest. I had CUI’s 410cc as was told by both Dr singh and my pc there is nothing wrong with them, they are excellent quality and it is very unlikely I will have the same implants for lifetime
I hope I’ve made wright decision
Hi All,
Just wanted to add something to this post.
All of the implants that MYA offer are made by Allergan who are the biggest manufacturer of breast implants in the world. The standard range that is included in the cost of a breast augmentation are the Allergan CUI and they come in a high and low profile. There are also a premium range of implants (Natrelle Inspira and 410) that are also available at an additional cost. Both types of implants take a week to make, they are hand-made and put through over 140 safety tests. They are of exceptionally high quality.
Remember, the surgeon will always recommend which implant will give you the best result. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
Hiya Hun, Thanks for the advise, i didnt get offered the option between the two types but the ones i was shown did have a textured shell does that mean it is the natrelle range? Hope you dont mind if i add you x
All I’m confused to…. I had a consultation with adamo yesterday.
I asked about these too as I’ve seen alot of girls on here talking about them.
& I do think for a couple of hundred it’s nothing to pay if they are of High quality and have a “lifetime” guarantee!
Im sure he said inspira but I didn’t realise there was two different types (soft touch&responsives) am
I right on that????
I’m paying an extra £461. Can anyone help me??? I didn’t get offered either I just had the sample one Which I made a
Choice on because they felt alot stronger n didn’t crease up as much,
Any help is much appreciated! Thanks girls x xx
and I have Chelsxx profile pic on my work laptop!!! Great set they r hun – I should have my own by July… however all the lads at work keep asking me for your phone number!!!!!
hahaa cuks that made me laugh so much! thank u
thanks for adding that george85.. i wasnt really clued up about anatomicals so that was good that u can get someone that specializes in them!
bonz..u can get smooth or textured in the natrelle range! ill accept u now.
and april i would say they were soft touch at that price, and if they didnt crease up as much im guessing they would be soft touch, because they are the firmer of the two.
mya moderator.. i wasnt saying there was anything wrong with the CUIs, my surgeon told me they were just as good in his eyes, and it was my choice, although he would recommend the responsives over soft touch. i posted this because not many surgeons seem to mention the premium range, in which my eyes they should. u have a right to know what is on offer. and i posted this as so many people keep questioning what the inspira range is. if all your surgeons offered, i may not have had to post this.
sorry girls but its true!
xx
Chelsxx xxxx You could go out on a diff date every nite lol x
Cant wait have my responsives x
hahaa dont tell me that..ill be letting u give my number out! hahaa xx
soooo useful . thank you!! xx
welcome hun
glad it is of some use for people! xx
Chelsxx l have Naturelle did u get the manual lol xx
Aprilxxx
I made the same decision as you, chels is right they are indeed the softtouch as they don’t crease up like you said, they are natrelle premium range- the most expensive because they are a cohesive gel so if you have an accident and they get punctured or whatever they will not leak as you can cut through them with scissors- like a gummy bear which is why they are firmer –
I chose these as i liked that they didn’t crease and also for peace of mind as can’t leak into you.
LOL Chelsxx we wil have to start a boobie dating agency lol x
Thanks for the reply girls. Did you pay 461 for soft touch?? X
hahaa defs cuks! sounds like a plan!
vickysweetcheeks – yeaa i did get a manual but havent actch read much of it, why is that all whats in it? i just got research off the net before hand xx
Chelsxx – are the responsive softer and the soft touch ones firmer? I’m still trying to choose what to get and can’t decide! Traynor told me I didn’t need the inspira ones but I’m wondering whether to go back and ask why not?! I am also a 34b and going for 410s but didn’t really want to be bigger than a D. Do you feel like yours look an E or measurer bigger than they look? Sorry for all the questions! x
hey hun, yea thats right, soft touch are firmer. it depends on your current breast tissue and whether u would benefit from having the inspiras. i would say i look a DD in clothes. so u would probably look bigger than a D but measure around an F xx
Thanks I might have a look at the responsive ones then and see what mr t has to say. Think il go ahead with the 410s even if they’re bigger, I’m sure il get used to it! Mind if I add you with us being same starting size and implant size? X
yea no probs u can add me. i only had 345s tho me hun xx
