The disappointed stage?

I’m 6days po and still partly strapped so can’t see them properly but now the swellings gone I’m feeling a little bit disappointed in my new boobies! I’m sure it’s just a phase and I’ll like them again I’m just not feeling the excitement at the moment. My tummy and sides are still swollen and bloated but boobs are fine and I’m no longer needing to take any pain relief! X

Does swelling usually subside within a week? Seems a bit quick…maybe you feel that way because it’s a change you’ve made to your body and people react in different ways, don’t be disappointed Hun, give it time. Anyway your boobies will change over the coming weeks my nurse said I will see a lot of difference and so should everyone having a BA. X

What is it exactly you are feeling disappointed with about your boobs, if u don’t mind me asking…?

My swelling has definitely gone down they look totally different I almost had one boob the centre was so swollen and my cleavage is back to normal now and I’ve had to change to a smaller sports bra. They look a bit like two round balls lol. I’m not worried though I know it’s only early days and they will change loads x

Also I think everyone’s look a bit like round balls especially so soon after surgery. x

I’m 2 and a half weeks post op and I still have swelling, bruising was minimal and was gone after 10 days. It had gone down but still there. Mine started to drop a bit after about 10 days, you will know when cause they ache!
