The fasting rules!

Is it nil by mouth 6 hours before admission time? I’m an overnight stay so assuming admission time will be around midday so I’m guessing I can still have brekkie at 6am? really bad with fasting, feel completely weak so easily and just end up passing out…..I literally eat every 2 hours!! lol xx

Yeahh hun can’t eat 6 hours before and stop drinkin water 2 hours before. My admission time is 1pm and I was told I can have a light breakfast 5/6am if I want to xx

Are yuo an overnighter as well then hun? where/when is your op? must be soon as I hear you keep getting anxious lol xx that’s good that you can still drink water though I thought you couldn’t drink anything for 6 hours!
