The most surreal feeling

I finished work today for a whole month. It’s my BA day tomorrow.. All week it’s felt so strange, very excited but also with a tinge of nerves. It’s probably one if the most unusual excited feelings I’ve ever experienced. All my fellow midwives and friends made my last day at work for a while lovely. Lots of hugs, cards pressies.

Now to relax tonight, with the hubby and kids.. Watch some tv, bags already packed..

For everybody whose been through this before me I understand why you must get boobie blues. Quite similar to a wedding, plan , plan , plan then it’s here. But I shall have my hopefully super new boobs to look forward to tomorrow and showing them off in Cyprus late May with the girls.

So roll on tomorrow where I get my official 40th Birthday present from my husband. X x x

Aww that’s lovely that your work did that for you. I got bad boobie blues, I obviously didn’t miss the surgery but I missed the night in hospital as strange as it sounds. They really looked after me! I missed the whole build up too but am v happy with my new boobs as you will be good luck xxx
