The pill before op

Hey girls so I was reading the t&cs before the op, apparently you have to stop taking your pill before and after. I have a few issues when I stop taking my pill has anyone had their op and still been taking there pill?
Also I’ve got my pre op booked in for 12th March, I know this is with the nurse but what do I need to expect, do they weigh you and take blood pressure ect? ahhh I’m so excited yet so nervous!!

I think if your on progestogen-only pill it’s ok you can still take that but the combined pill you have to stop. When I spoke to my pc n told her I was on progestogen-only pill (mini pill) she said that was fine 🙂 xx

I was on combined pill and went to drs and changed straight over to mini pill. Had to be off my combined pill for 4 weeks before I had op xx

I’m on the mini pill and was told I had to be off that 2 weeks before and after x

Ahh my surgeon was happy with me to carry on taking mini pill right up to surgery and after? I had ms lutz x

I’m on the pill and I just carried on taking it. I’ve been on it for 8 years so wasn’t going to stop it, I’ve been fine xx
