the pill…help! x

Had my op a week ago. can i re-start my pill already? had a bit of spotting yesterday so took one but now im.worries to carru on the cycle incase im suppose to wait a while after op xx

Its meant to b 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after hun to reduce risk of blood clots and dvt etc xx

😮 i didnt know we cant take the pill? although i didnt think to ask my pc tbh…. so we have to stop taking pill 2 weeks before ba and 2 weeks after? x

Im sure my pc mentioned it hav u had ur pre op yet? The nurse deffo told m e! Yea, meant to b 2 weeks bfor 2 weeks after because the pill increases risk of blood clots etc x

aw ok thank goodness i saw your comment @dolcie ! no my ba is 8 weeks away but i take the pill everyday coz of my priod pains are so bad so i would have just taken it all way through this forum is so good for tips so glad i joined! lol xx

Im sure at your pre op the nurse would have told you anyway but yeah this forum is great for things that may have been missed! I take pill for that reason too but also cus i have a partner lol, its hell being off of it but i only have 1 week tomorrow to go Good luck with your op, 8 weeks will fly round, i booked mine at 10 weeks and had mine on sunday…flew by!xx

aw thanks hun, congrats on ur ba chick, did it all go well? what size did you get? im hopefully getting the date of mine brought forward by a week if my bf can get the time off work, fingers crossed! im getting mine donein cyprus now ( long story ) and the clinic has been amazing up till now but they didnt tell me abour a pre-op? all iv been told ot do is drop in a week before my date to give bloods and thats it! i happened to book another consultation in a few weeks time tho so im gonna bombard them with questions then! xx

Thanks chic, yeah all went well thanks, mario is a god lol! I had 375 trx overs from 34a tubular! Wat size r u havin? That b good if u can hav it bought forward…oh r u, ur brave lol good they been good so far, do they hav clinics in uk then? Odd they never mentioned pre op tho, mayb do it diff abroad?! But i never had my bloods taken so maybe they just weigh u etc on the day…least u hav a consultation booked anyway x

um im not sure if they have clinics in uk bt all UK patients are treated from UK afer their ops so there must be? but its a UK owned private clinic so thats y i went with it, the director (jo lythgoe – from manchester i think) is amazing and my surgeon Dr David is FAB. i work out here now thats y i changed from mya out here such a bloody expensive country to live in but my ba is bit cheaper than MYA so thats a bonus yeah its so odd, i went to see two diff surgeons out here and they both ask for bloods and its costs 300euro just for the pre tests! but mine are inclusive of my overall price so its all good. happy healing hun!! xx

Ohhh ok, bit different if ur workin and living there! yeah ive heard cyprus is v expensive! Glad ur lookin forward to it and r happy with surgeon etc! Thanks hun and to u wen u hav ur op xx
