The Pill – Messed everythin up!!!

Hiya girls have any of you waited longer to come on ur period than normal when you stopped taking the pill 2 weeks before your BA??

I stopped taking mine just over 2 weeks cos I woulda been 2 pills into the next pack when I had to stop so thought it would have been pointless.

I’m 3 weeks PO monday.. Still waiting for my period!!! I wish I’d just stayed on it, messed up now dunno when I’m gonna come on soo annoying :@

I wasnt aware that you had to stop the pill….with any big op it throws this out of line. Sorry I may be niave but I hadnt had my preop check yet and maybe I get all that info then.

I never had a period coming off mine just started taking it again 2 weeks post opp xx

You don’t have to stop the pill Sharron. It’s advisory. I didn’t stop mine and I’m fine I’m on the mini pill

I was the same as Nikki. I got sick of waiting & just went back on the pill. Ironically enough I got my period the next day.

Normal activity has now been resumed 😉 😆

Cherrybomb, I would if I was you hun. You’ll need to use other protection for the 1st 7 days and you might get a little spotting for the first 4 weeks or so as well as your normal period, but I’d say it’s worth it for the peace of mind of being covered.
