The rice test

As with many of you since booking my op I have spent ages worrying about the cc i should be using. I had told the surgeon 340cc, I measure as a 34aa and wanted to be a big C, but was worried this would be too bug. I have slim hips and although tall am a size 8-10.

I had read about the rice test using plastic bags but although i’d tried this it was really hard to get the right shape and i felt just a tad silly.

Recently though I found a forum where someone suggested using tights or socks for your rice test so heres what to do.

Buy a sports bra in your desired size/sizes. In my case i then measured out 340ml of rice in a jug, this equates to the same as a 340cc implant in size and weight. Pour each 340ml into a sock and shape into an implant shape by pushing down on the end of the sock, squeezing the rice into the toe. I then just twisted the ends and voila your implant! Place in bra with twisted ends up towards the straps out of the way, it’s brilliant!!

I have done it too with socks. Because I have unders I even took 10% off the implant size and then put the amount of rice into the sock (eg. 300cc – 10% = 270). Hope it makes sence! Silly me I know but well it helped me and you get used to it too x

Have you had your BA, was the result similar to that with the rice test? Have spent the day with rice boobies today, it’s been quite fun i must say!

will have my BA in 4 weeks so cannot say if the rice test is really acurate :S

Yeah its fun, but when I take the rice out of my bra I am like – where are they gone?? lol

I did this too and it does work but they defo are smaller than with the rice … i had my ba on tuesday wis i’d gone next size up but still so so happy xxxx

I am deciding between 380cc and 410cc. The 410cc in the rice looks TOO BIG! and the 380cc looks just about right. However, my PC did say the rice would come up a little bigger than the actual implant… but I havent seen any comments on here before now to confirm that; so wasn’t sure if that was right or not!?

Can I ask what cc you had etc? xx

Hi Luna, I am booked for mid Jan, very excited, know what you mean about taking the rice out. It’s great though as it gives you a chance to get used to having boobs, I keep bumping them with my arm!

I also took out some to account for the fact that i’m having unders, for me it’s so important that they look natural so was great to be able to try this

Cherrycheeks I was offered 380 and 410. I went for the 410 and even minutes before I went down I was like I think 410 is to big. I am glad I went for threm I am a 34 dd and 2 weeks post op so still have swelling would have felt ripped off if they was any smaller. Hope this helps x

i love this test, have been undecided about getting my BA. did the rice text last night and actually liked the look of having bigger boobs. i was worried they would make me look fat as im only 5,1. i put 340cc and liked them haha.. they did feel heavy tho, is this something get used to? x

They dont feel that heavy to me though…probably used to them!!

Have tried the 300’s too, they look similar to how i look now in padded bras, which is great… the 340’s just make me look that bit fuller.

Its so diificult to decide! Ive ordered 300 & 340cc. I’m pretty sure im going with the 340’s though. Im quite tall and a 34aa so will probably need that extra 40cc to take me to a full C??? Will just have one last check with the surgeon on the day.

Are you going to book yours once youve seen the surgeon? What kinda size you hoping for? xxx

hey i think u should go 340xx if ur a AA, and i think it will make u a nice size C. im booked in with mr kazzazi at doncaster on 17th dec, im not seeing him til 23rd nov. im hoping for a small D cup but dont want to be any bigger. x
