The situation with Mr Russo.. complete disaster im so upset.. back to square one

Hi all! This is not what i expected! I spent so much time researching what company was best and after having many consultations with different companies i chose MYA. My op was meant to be June 24th and has been cancelled due to the Mario Russo situation.

Ive been booked in to see Mr Adamo on 21st then op on 27th but i spent so much time deciding and researching the first time, im not ready now to just jump in with another surgeon and go ahead with it! i dont want to be rushed! this is too important and scary for me.. I need lots of time to start my whole BA journey again.

This is making me start to consider not bothering at all as I have tried other companies before mya and didn’t like any of them. I had my heart set on mario doing my BA and now that is definitely not happening. Can i just ask for a full refund (as ive paid it all) ? If i get told i cant get my deposit back i will go mad and i wont back down! I was told that deposit was for the booking of my hospital bed etc.. and they were the ones who cancelled my whole op and landed it on me that i have to go with another surgeon on a completely different date.

I know its not MYAs fault.. its marios.. and my pc Hollie has been great.. i just cant be rushed and want to start all over again at my own pace so i know i feel ready and comfortable with my surgeon.

So i think im going to ask for a full refund? Im praying they will understand and give that back because i have paid for something that has been completely taken from me!

Help ladies, i know its not just me in this situation.. sorry for the essay! xx

Hi I hoe you don’t mind me commenting, i have seen alot of these type of post with people not being happy that there op’s have been changed, i didn’t go through mya for my op and if you were thinking of going some where else i went with transform and they were great fitted me in really quickly and the surgeons are really nice there as well. hope it all works out feel free to message me if you have got any questions xx

Jodie hun if your not happy and not comfortable tgen dont do it hun.. But i would meet mr adamo 1st and see how u feel hes a brilliant surgeon and the work ive seen from him is some of the best ive ever seen. If your not happy after then explain to mya not comfotable still and u want your refund.. Some of the girls ive seen post have got it back in full. Good luck sweety. You will figure it out xxxx

And yes beckie okay ill go to see mr adamo but i really dont think ill click with him like i did with mario. my whole family is gutted, i was so comfortable with him.. but i will give him a chance

and im so happy to hear that people have been fully refunded. Thats wonderful of MYA. I am still happy to go with this company, definitely.. i just need alot of time now to start again and if i decide im not happy with mr adamo, they should respect that and refund me. Lets hope i like mr adamo and he doesnt do things too differently to mario .. cant wait to get all my questions answered

Be prepared to maybe get offered dif with adamo too it seems most surgeons will offer completely differnt to the other. I know hun but maybe its a blessing in the long run with all thats happend with the mario situation il msg u on fb hun xxx

I believe everything happens for a reason even thou I know right now that is no help to you! But what I mean is maybe you will find a better surgeon that will offer you something even better for you? I was booked in with mario for ba and uplift went to see mr chantarasak and canceled with mario to book with mr c as he offered me something I was more happy with fingers crossed you will meet a surgeon your happy again with xx

See some of Mr Adamo’s work firs too, he’s my surgeon (getting operated on on Wed!) and everyone i’ve spoken to who has had him has said he’s amazing and he’s the only surgeon on here who does not get any negative comments at all. He’s a lovely man, quite shy, engaging to chat with and i think you won’t regret having your op with him. Add me if you like and i can share my pics with you after Wed x

Aw thanks you two! I will definitely give him a chance. my pc just rung and told me that there is no rush at all and if at any time im not comfortable with mr adamo or if i no longer want the procdure so soon and need more time, i can have my full money back.

So im a lot happier Mya are fantastic in my opinion

I had Adamo hunni, I think we’re already friends and I do have pics up. I too believe it’s a blessing in disguise, Adamo is the. One of the best surgeons u can get, and I came to that conclusion before my ba. He is truly incredible and aswel as brilliant results everytime his scarring is also the best I’ve seen. When I had my post op with my nurse one week later (which is miles away from London) she smiled when she took my dressings off and said ‘you had Dr Adamo, no one Is as neat and small as him’ also when I asked many of MYAs team before I had any consultation booked or anything like that I asked who they would want as their surgeon given the choice. . . All said Adamo! Don’t be disheartened hunni, I know this isn’t a nice thing ur all going through with Mario, but your right MYA are brilliant and trust Adamo if you can it will be worth it I promise xx

Oh I really feel for you. It’s great that mya have offered to give you a full refund. Now you can go and see Mr Adamo with an open mind and see how you feel. I didn’t have him but I’ve never heard a bad word about on him on here. Good luck sweetie x
