These are the reasons im annoyed

1. Was never offered ehp and if I was maybe I would of had 410ehp, because I think these are too big for my chest they take over it.

2. My pc at Mya never gets back to me, and when she does she gives me some sort of generic answer like im stupid!

3. Didnt have long enough time trying implants in ans was fobbed off as they were busy at manchester office.

4. They should know its a massife thing and they should make sure you spend the time and make the right choice.

5. I think i might have my implants out and start again as they are just too big I dont like them and will end up paying all over again.

Rant over for now, but im ringing mya and insisting on seing Dr Traynor and if they say no ill just go down and see him I want to ask him some questions, not the nurse not the pc DR TRAYNOR! Thanks that is all x x

hiya stace sorry to hearing your in such a neagative place about your implants, i felt like you for the first few weeks i was convinced mine were too big, i cried and cried for days and days i physcially wanted to rib them out myself, i just want to asure you this feeling doesnt last, once you get used to them they appear alot smaller, i acually want mine bigger now, be patient seriously hun i bet you grow to love them, its early days yet give them a chance to drop and soften, looking at your pics they look perfect for your frams xx

Stacey123 i couldn’t agree with you more! I spent less than 10mins i with my surgeon and no-one ever mentioned different implants, assumed CUi were the only ones!

I agree, when you spend £4k on something like this you should get exactly what you want, they just roll girls in and out their doors and don’t really care.

Stacey, am I right in thinking you only just had your op about 4 days ago?! Don’t go doing anything rash just yet because your boobs will be alot smaller in a couple of weeks time! Honestly, you’ll be swellen for another 10 days at least. And they will not have dropped. x

I agree with the lack of information regarding to the implants. I was also just offered 260 or 300cc. Because I was so uncertain about size and in the forum there seemed to be different sizes I called my pc asking if I could have 280cc (it would be in the middle). She told me they were only made in 40cc. I think I saw others girls here having different sizes not in the 40’s and when the nurse called confirming the admission time and implant size I told again about different sizes and she said that maybe the most expensive implants had different sizes. I called my pc straight away asking her to explain me this and I could sense from her voice her thinking (not again…) and she said that they were only made in different sizes after 300cc. To be honest I was not convinced but there was only one day left for the op and I was already stressed enough so I didn’t bother anymore.

Here in the forum I read about different sizes, anatomical implants, high and low profile (have no idea which one is mine),…

I think the pc should also have implant samples so we could go there if we were not sure about which size we wanted and try them again…

5/10 minutes is not enough for us to make such and important decision.

Hey hun, it DOES get better, I’m only a few days ahead of you but promise you that it does improve. You get less of a tight feeling and the pain will decrease, slowly but surely. Things look crappy at the moment because of the pain, sleep deprivation and the boobie blues xx

Ahh Stacey you poor thing, i’m really sorry you’re not happy with them. I’ve been going through Manchester and have my op with Helena on 2nd June. Who was your pc as I’ve had numerous problems with my pc not calling me back and I had to complain to her boss but everything is fine now, they sorted things out for me. My consultation with Helena was really good and lasted about 35 minutes, she was really patient and went through different options. Really my husband and I drove all of the questions, they dont tend to volunteer alot of information though and it is hard sometimes when you dont know what to ask. I’m sure they’ll settle and you’ll feel more positive soon xxxx

Thanks everyone for your reassurance, ticky hopefully they will a FAIR few iches but they do seam a nicer shape today so impatiente!! My surgeon was traynor, I cant fault him did exactly what he was asked too, my issue is not being given the options before hand, my pc is kayleigh and tbh she has been great befor hand just the few days leading upto op and post op she hasnt got back to me ggrrr!! i just hope and do trust that surgeon wouldnt of put them behid muscle if they were too big to go there x x x x

I know what you mean though, I had my consultation with Mr Traynor and was just offered 410’s but wasn’t told about any different types of implants. I didn’t even get to try them in my bra to see what they looked like

Hi Stacey I had the same co-ordinator at Manchester.

The place is ridiculously busy and the staff don’t have time to speak to you. The waiting room is cramped and people had to sit on the floor and on the steps outside!!

I complained to another PC because at a time in my life when I’m making such a huge choice and spending so much money I want to feel confident that people are giving me all the information. You can’t make an ‘informed’ choice if you arent being given all the options!! I also had unreturned calls and very late appointments. On the day of my consultation my Surgeon was running 2 hours late (for good reasons) but nobody thought to call me and let me know. On the day of my pre-op the nurse was an hour late but again I was not told.

I had so many reservations about cancelling and going with somebody else and then I just bit the bullet and went for it. At Highfield Hospital everything was smooth, well organised and the staff were faultless, exceeding all my expectation!!

Mya need to take a leaf out of their book and at least match this service as they are the people who we see most.

Hiya misspea, totaally agree when i had my pre op there were people sitting on the floor too! Highfield was good cant really complain but your right when were making huge decisions we need to be given all the choices available and all i got when i asked my pc was ‘if you want naturalles there an extra £481 and only spoke about price and didnt expalinanythig except to say Dr Traynor is happy to work with cui’s! I do hope it all ends ok because if not ill blow it out of the water!! Poor service from the start, and when girls are so eagre to get ba’a we will just go with what they say as we dont have anythig else to go on!

xxtamzaxx, you didn’t even try the implant in your bra?? Your pre op is going to be with the nurse and she doesn’t have any sample with her/him. I think you should contact your pc and ask to try them so you don’t end up with a big surprise.

Bless you, I really hope things do settle for you and Im sure they will (havent had mine done yet) but from reading on here a few girls have hated them to begin with i think it is probably just the shock of the change to your body and im sure I will feel the same after too – I know its not “completely” the same but I remember when I had my babies and my boobs were engorged (with milk) they were under my chin out through my armpits and felt horrendous, Ive heard its the same kind of feeling a few days post op.

They look fab in your pics huni and Im sure in a afew weeks you will see the same xxx

Just ring up and ask if you can have some time in a room with your PC and the implants offered because you weren’t given the opportunity.

I tried them in on my consultation, at my nurse pre-op (after complaining)and another appointment specifically for re-trying with my PC. Unfortunately this was a) because the bras they provided to try the implants on didnt fit me and b) I was left in a room for 20 minutes after being told ‘I’m just going to get you the implants’ and then never returning. So I booked a separate appointment.

I know exactly what you mean… I didnt even know “teardrop” implants existed until after my consultations and had booked it all. And my surgeon didnt really explain what unders and overs means. I’ve found everything out from reading these forums. Making me a little nervouse now because only have 2 weeks to go… Hope they look right. HIya Katie, I had 460’s unders because I want to look a d/dd and I am glad I had them but wished that id been given more choice and if te swelling doesnt go down and they dont drop im going to go mad!! I think im just feeling bad becasue they are so high and im only 4 days post op but I felt and still feel rushed!! I have a small frame too and think i should of been offered extra high profile where the implant ist as wide but projects more, but i will cause a fuss if you can see these implants in a few weeks! What siza are you hoping to be? There are girls on here who havent achieved a d with 410’s and some who have with a 300, its really odd and I wouldnt choose your size based on anyones pics or advice because everyone is different and everybody react different. Are you having unders with you having a small frame? x x x xx

I’m having 260 unders which is going to make me at least a C, possibly D. It took me so long to understand everything but this forum has helped me so much. I have my op tomorrow – I’m so nervous! xxx

well ill just say i have the same pc as you and ive had problems, mya saw a post a few weeks ago where i had a rant and on that day i had 2 phone calls, sice then – no replies to my emails. i feel manchesters not up there with great customer service tbh, all the other places have had no complaints. sick of driving a 1 hour 30 round trip just to see a different person everytime i go for 5 mins. x

Thats interesting, Kayleigh was my pc too and she wasn’t returning my calls, since I complained to Head Office she has been much better. I have to say that generally the pc’s seem to be backed up with appointments and the appointments are always running late. Susielicious, make sure you give yourself plenty of time on the parking meters and for the appointment as you will undeoubtedly not get seen on time and I got busted for a £25 penalty by a ticket man for being 4 minutes over my ticket on St Johns Road when the Nurse was running late this week.

I still believe that even despite the call probs and the delays with appts that the Surgeons do a fantastic job and all of the results I’ve seen from people going through Manchester have been fantastic. xxx

I’m having my op on Thursday but despite Mr Traynor running very late I have been pretty pleased with MYA. My PC is Alison and she even text me an answer to my question from the lakes on Sunday.

Being totally honest I’ve had a couple of issues which have now been ironed out a d the the whole I’m happy.

Newcastle clinic has always been so quiet with only me in the waiting room most times so its hard for me to imagine people sat on the floor – that’s like an airport! I hope they get in touch with u to help, have got fingers crossed for you x

Awh thanks girls she has been in touch and while I do want to be the only thing on her mind at all times I do understand she is only human and can only do so many things! She has been lovely and im meeting dr traynor this week to have a chat, also the parking outside st.johns street is free after 6pm so dont worry if its after then girls and your ok to park on the single yellow on opposite side of road x x x x x x

Hiya hun, when you say you think you should have gone for eHP because you’re a small frame, can I ask what back size you are? I ‘should’ wear a 28-30 bra and I measure 26.5 under bust but ehp were not mentioned to me, only hp’s and moderate. Thanks x
