Seen different surgeons and they all said different things…just seen Helena and she was the only one that said the scar on my tummy wud be very high cos there isnt enuf skin on there…she recommended a mini TT, but id rather a full one…if i was just having my uplift with implants the i would 1 million % go with Helen as I think she seems awesome xx
Oh Melissa, what you going to do??? Don’t give up, please don’t. Perhaps consider Helena’s advice of mini tummy tuck. I’m sure whatever she does will give you fantastic results. xxx
Nah hun, deffo want the full cos it will get rid of all my stretch marks and altho that isnt the bee all n end all but sinse im havig all this done i wanna make sure i dont need it done again in a yr or so xxx
hey melissa
I really feel for you. these are such hard decisions to make. Not straight forward at all. I saw a Doc once that said- “unless you feel inside that you are sure, and can live with the results, then don’t rush in to any thing”, – it was good advice.
You are in a position where what you want to achieve has + and – implications… scarring vs. physical change. Very hard to choose. Take your time.
I am not having a TT, but when i saw a surgeon a year ago for an uplift and small implants, I wasn’t 100% sure that I could live with the scaring. I felt really disheartened at the time… as I had been fixed on the idea of an ‘improvement’, but didn’t feel right inside to press ahead.
So, at the time, i didn’t go ahead with the surgery.
I took a year ‘off’ from the whole idea. And then went and saw 2 more surgeons this year. I am now in a place where I am happy with the concept of the surgery. But had I rushed in a year earlier I don’t think i’d have been happy, it would have all been too stressful.
Remember that we are all beautiful. and you can have surgery at ANY TIME… but like a tattoo, once you have it you can’t go back.
Take a few days off of thinking about it… do some thing totally ‘un-body’ related. And then see how you feel. There is no rush.
I am so glad i didn’t have my op back when I still had doubts.
this is only my advice!! Some one else may have a different perspective.
Also… even if you like one surgeon… i would strongly recommend seeing a couple. I have chosen to go with the 3rd surgeon i’ve met!
Best of luck… what ever you choose
love xXx
Thank you hunny, means allot i have thought of the Uplift with implants a few times and then come bak to it this year. TT is new this year! its horrible, its taking over my life! xx
It does doesn’t it!! The whole Body thing becomes an addiction!
some times I think its a good idea to find a quite spot some where, breath, take in the sky, and realize that we are just tiny little ants… and whether we have boobs, tummys, noses, or ears that aren’t ‘perfect’… it really doesn’t matter!
(-if only i could take my own advice! lol).
I hope that you find a solution that works for you, and that make you happy.
hugs xXx
Melissa
My head is mashed now. I really do think I’m with the right surgeon but still feeling totally lost!!!

Hi Melissa
I’m with Dr Fallahdar. I’m having 340cc HP overs. I have a droop to my boob but Dr F has said the 340cc should lift it enough to not need the uplift (though I will need one in a few years). So my nipples will be low, but i am very happy with that.
Over a year ago… the first surgeon i saw said i would definitely need an uplift, and couldn’t have more than 200 or 240cc teardrop implants under the muscle. I didn’t feel that, for me, I would be 100% happy with the scars. I very nearly booked the op, because I’d been so eager to have fuller boobs for so long. But he told me not to rush the decision.
After a YEAR or more of thinking, I came to the conclusion that for me (every person is different) that I’d rather have small droopy boobs than an uplift scar. But that maybe when I am in my 40s I’d have the uplift.
I then decide to meet with some more surgeons. To get a second opinion.
The first surgeon said if I went bigger I might not need an uplift. And the last surgeon (MYA; Dr Fallahdar) said that if i went bigger still; that a lift would not be needed. But that in aprox 10years I will need a uplift. When I heard this I know immediately that the surgery was some thing I was 100% content to go ahead with… even though the implants were nearly 2x bigger than I’d initially aimed for.
The point is… I know how hard it is to make a choice when scarring is involved. When I was told i needed a full uplift, I was torn between better boobs and a scar.
Every one has their own preferences and thresholds of what feels comfortable… so when surgery id more involved than the more straight forward implants, when its TT’s, uplifts, or corrective surgery… then there are more choices to be made.
You’ll know when some thing is right for you.
Perhaps get some 2nd opinions… you’ll be amazed how much it varies surgeon to surgeon. (I went from being told “full uplift with max 240cc tear drops under muscle” right through to “no up lift, 240 or 280cc HP over muscle… but uplift in 10yrs time”).
Sorry to waffle on.
I hope that you reach a place, like me where the decision has become easy. I feel lucky now. But I didn’t a year ago. And you have quite a lot to decide upon so i really feel for you.
Big hugs
Hope i dont sound ‘preachy’
xXx
Hiya Girlies,
clare-Helena was fab mind, so much more in depth.
Forest- I’ve researched till I’ve vomited- Clare will confirm that!!! She has been my rock….but I think I’ve heard enough now n just need to give up b4 I make myself I’ll with the worry.
Xxx
I have had another sleepless night and have spoken to Julie @ Newcastle and I am seeing Mr Traynor again on 5th April (my happy birthday!), and I will make my mind up then as to whether i am going to go ahead or infact cancel. I was due to pay the full amount on 30th March, however I dont need to pay until after I seen him. Stressed isnt the word girlies. Helena scared me yesterday cos she said if I have a Full TT there maynot be enough skin there, so either my scar will become really high or it will rip open…I mean howay man…neee neeed for that petal!!!!
