Thinking of taking my boobies on holiday (when I get them!)

Anybody know when it’ll be okay to go on holiday and swim in the sea after my BA?

My ops on 22nd November and would love a christmas holiday (leaving before 18th Dec because prices go up by nearly half) or is that pushing it?

i was told it’s best to keep the scars out of the sun for atleast 6 months, hence why i booked my op for after i’d been on holiday!

Best to be safe hun, don’t rush it, because you’ll get plenty of holidays after xx

Even if I wear factor 50+? Cancelled my holiday this year because I was too insecure about going on the beach, need some sun haha! I don’t sunbathe, I go swimming a lot and go on tours, I get really uncomfortable sunbathing

awww bless you! ugh I went away end of sept/start of oct just gone, hated my little flatties in my bikinis, but i knew it was their last outing that way

Have a chat with your surgeon hun, he will prob recommend that reat strong sunscreen that is wore over tattoos, however i know they would prefer it if u wait!

My op is next week, booked a week in spain end of may, so know exactly how u feel about wanting to get away with ur new babies xxx

Amyjessica I dont think u can swim for at least 6 weeks after because of infections n germs gettin in yr scars. N yr goin away only 4 weeks later hun! Dont risk gettin an infection! Maybe go away, but dont swim, u got the rest of yr life to swim hun xxx

I’m addicted to swimming in the sea so if I can’t do that I won’t bother going on holiday it’ll depress me too much lol!

If I really can’t wait then I might try a February holiday, not been away in nearly 3 years xx

Id go in feb hun, im goin to rome then for my bday its only a couple months wait, n im sure uve bin waitin alot longer for boobs, n dont want to risk anythin bad happening to them! Ive only been swimmin twice in my adult life (im 29) n that was only to please my kids. The sight of me in a costume is ghastly, but I hope that will change once ive had my op! Xxx

yeah that would be better hun, gives ur wounds and yourself time to heal, but still cover them scars as it’s within 6 months. think i’ll be covering mine for a year to be safe x

I cover all of my skin with 50+ because I’ve had a few scares with moles so don’t want to risk anything, fake bake for me!

Thanks girls, going to go away in Feb/March, then again in September and again in December (3 years of holidays to make up for)

Rome sounds nice I’ve never been to Italy before, lucky you enjoy it!

ha same as hun, I have a awful scar on my back fo a mole that changed colour caught an infection and the scar is 3 times bigger than the mole was grrrrrrrrr!!

And your holibobs will come around in no time, am sure your boobs will take up ur attention for atleast 2 months anyhoo xxx

I’ve not had any of mine removed yet but have to keep going back to my doctor to get them checked, why they can’t just remove them I don’t know!

Haha Amyjessica i love that last comment! I’m definitely taking mine away in April/May! My last holiday in oct was my last week of gel filled bikinis! My suitcase might even be under the luggage allowance with out all that padding!!!! Lol xx

My boobies are being done on the 4th Jan and I’m going on our family summer holiday on the 12th June (don’t think I’ve ever booked a holiday so far in advance!) as its only 5 months after I’m going to buy the little sun block strips you can buy to put over your scars when you sunbathe, I know it will then be really obvious to people that I’ve had my boobs done but I’d rather that then burnt scars xx (can’t remember what they are called) X

I’m having my BA done mid March and going on holiday last week in May so 10 weeks if I can’t swim that’s fine with me and I don’t sunbathe topless anyway but will I still need strips or high factor over scars ?? I’m forgetting some bikinis you can still tan through xx

I’m a little worried about only being 10 weeks but it’s my 40th Girly holiday so it’s set in stone xx
