Thought i was coping well until today……

Hi had my ba on Friday and have been in hardly any pain until today. It was unbearable this morning and i couldnt shake it off. The pain is only in my left breast it seems to be underneath really sore sharp pains and swollen. Been in tears with it, im a tough cookie usually!!!! Can anyone put my mind at rest? Has anyone experienced this? I know its early days but the pain has scared me today. Many thanks Lou 😥

Hey Louby…i haven’t had my op yet but thinking of you and hope your feeling alot better tomorrow. I think people have days when its more painful, might be the nerves healing. Take Care xx

awww bless, i hope you feel better soon and the pain eases, im sorry i cant give you any advice as i havent had mine done yet.

just take the pain killers and remember that you will have the number of the hospital which you can ring up to two weeks post-op. i\\\’m sure everything will be fine and in a day or so, you will be back to your pain-free self. it\\\’s normal to have some pain as your body has taken quite a beating. if possible can you let me know how you are getting on? best of luck xxx ps you could try ice packs for the swelling xxx

i did have a similar thing, not to the point it made me cry , but it eas a sharp pain on the under arm side of my left boob.

When i went for my seven day post op check i mentioned it to the nurse as it hadnt gone away,

She asured me that it was quite normal and was probably a nerve, she said your boobs and muscles have had quite a bit of tauma and to expect this sort of thing for the next few weeks or so,

you will find it will ease , mine did then i was fine then the all over stiffness came back for a few days , then that was fine then i had a pain in the centre of my chest, i feel okay at the moment just over 3 weeks post op, It gets better slowly .everything has to settle back down and knit back into place , just take it easy xxx

Hi thankyou all for your comments. I am loads better now just rested for a couple of days,still getting pains in my left boob but nothing like the other day! I think i might of overdone it because i was in no pain. Getting my bandages off tomorrow hopefully feel more comfortable! Many thanks Lou xxxx
