time limit on breast implants?

i was just curious as there has been a few comments about it, is it true that after around ten years or so you would need your implants replaced ? if so does anyone know why this is ? or if it is gaurenteed?

hey, it’s because the shell that holds in the silicone becomes older and more likely to rupture – you’re supposed to check on your implants every five years to make sure that you’re safe, but yes they’re bound to need replacing at some point really x
