Time off work ?

how long have you guys took off work after your ops? im not booked in yet but we need to book our holidays well in advance. i dont have a very physical job but i do travel 1hr 20mins each way to and from work but just stand or sit around for the day ? would 10 days be enough ? thanks for any help xxx

hey it depends if your having overs or under the muscle implants. overs is about 1 week off work and unders are 2-3 weeks off work. i went back to work yesterday and I’m 1 week post op with overs and i feel fine, still a little tight but well enough to work.

I had overs and had a week off, that was enough for me, I just took it very easy when I went back to work, had to be slow when answering the phone! But if you dont do heavy lifting in your job then you will totally be fine after a week.

depends, spoek to my pc the day after her ba and she was normal hadnt even looked at painkillers, but hannypops is right overs is much speedier recovery time xx

I had unders and I was driving 4 days PO and only had a week off! Depends on the person to be honest, I hardly had any pain..was more tightness xx

I was the same as Keeley, not pain just a bit tight and uncomfortable at times, I stopped my painkillers after day 2 and just took paracetamol that helped when I felt a bit tight and sore
