Time off work ??!!I

I was told at my consultation with my PC that il only need one week off work, Im hoping to have my surgery on mon 5th december as an overnight stay, and hoping to go back to work the following monday! Will this be okay?? i will literally have no annual leave left to take after i take that week so i hope so!!!

Also i feel so guilty as im going to have to make my boyfriend take the same week off as me purely to take my son to nursery each morning at 8.30am and pick him up at 5pm! is there any way i might be fit enough to walk this? Its a 15 min walk to nursery and back?? this would save him having to take a week off work for me!! Heeeeelp thankyou! xxxx

i had one week off hun and i was fine, my job is physically demanding but i just took my time and had no problems.

i was walking round the day after my opp, i went clothes shopping on my own, i managed to walk around for about an hour and half before i got tired and to be honest i was out and bout everyday to keep active. i think you’ll be fine just to wwalk to nursery and back, i picked my son up from his nursery 2 days after xx

I’m having my op on 4th oct (Tuesday) then returning to work the following Tuesday as I have no more annual leave left either lol. Thankfully I onl have a desk job so hopefully it won’t be too bad. Make your bf take the week off just so he can pamper you and run round like a loon that’s what I’m doing ha ha x
