time off work with overs

Hi girls, can everyone who has had over please let me know how much time they took off of work. I’m debating whether to book 1 or 2 weeks off and have since found out that due to when my op is scheduled for 2 weeks may not even be do-able….not sure what to do xx

I had 2 weeks to be honest I was fit enough after one,but I would have needed to book time off for the nurses appointments, so I took the 2 weeks and got them out of the way,having said that I was office based so not a physically demanding job.xx

I had just over a week off. I only do a desk job but was ready to come back by then. Think it friends on how physical your work is xx

I work in an office and have booked a week off. I’m back in on Friday, hopefully I’ll be ok x

My op is scheduled for the 11th Jan, so if I book from the 11th to the 20th then that should be sufficient shouldn’t it, that will be 11 days of recovery! hhmm hoping I can take that long – thanks girls x

Ho missy, I’ve book two weeks and having overs on Thursday but I had loads of leave to take. I only do a desk job but need to be able to use my car on demand so wasn’t sure about the whole driving thing. Exciting times isn’t it when you’re booking x

hey, i got overs three weeks ago today. one week was fine but i am on the go alot so would have been best if i had 14days off, at three weeks now though i am completely back to normal and even forget about it completely. i was soo cautious the first two so probably helps i have chilled out. sleeping on my side a few nights helped i think as they felt a little more normal after x

I’m having 4 weeks but I have a physically demanding job at times (midwife) xx
