TIME OFF

Hi everyone,

How many days did you take off work?

Was it enough?

I work in an office so my work isn’t strenuous. My op will be on a Weds so was thinking of taking wed thurs fri, then mon tues wed off work and go back the thurs?

Anyone remember how they felt day 8?? xxxx

I felt fine honey,but I had 2 weeks didnt want to go back until my stitches were trimmed as I would have needed another day off to travel to appointment,xxx

when was that? my pc said I will go have op on a weds, then the next weds go back and see the nurse so i can go back to work thursday?

will the nurse trim my stitches or will i need a day off the next week aswell xxx

I had 2 weeks off due to being a co car driver – felt fab at day 8 and cud have gone back to work but enjoyed beig lazy lol x

I don’t know,it may be different for you,I had to see the nurse at week 1 they changed the dressing and checked the stitches,re dressed the wounds,then a week later they trimmed them and they came out.Ask you PC for more information if you are unsure honey,xx

3weeks for me!!

Im the same as you vikkix, im having my op on the wednesday and planning to go back to work on the Monday, that could be me being optomisitic though. I have already booked to see the nurse the Thursday after my op! xx
