To all post op ladies

Hi ladies I’m 13 weeks post op, a few weeks ago i developed a red rash on my upper torso only, i feel like i have heat rash constantly and it is only since the surgery. My boobs feel particularly itchy, Has anyone else had this problem?

I would have asked in my appointment with the surgeon last week, but Mya messed up my appoiontment, and i ended up sitting for 2 hours in the car for no reason x Many Thanks in advance

Have you got a new appointment honey,you are doing the right thing seeking medical advise,even it its just a heat rash best to get it checked out.xxx

Yeah, its starting to drive me mad now, it’s not something i’ve really had before, Have an appointment at the end of Oct now xx

The nurse may be able to help,if you call her and tell her how uncomfortable you are,still keep your October appointment but ring the nurse in the mean time,they may be able to help.xxx

I had a rash around 2moro weeks po because of wearing the macom a lot I switched to a cotton sports bra and took an antihistamine like piriton to stop the itching. Our soon cleared up. e45 itch relief cream is quite good too. I do sympathise it drove me nuts and was around my scars so couldn’t put anything on them at the time! Xx

Ahh thanks Faye, i have wondered if the sports bras im wearing are making it worse, going to start taking antihistamines daily now, and will contact the nurse Tina xx
