OK, so I’ve been thinking for the last few years about booking a consultation with MYA but keep putting it off. Some days I’ll think yes I’m going to go for it and book a consultation and BA and others I think I can’t because of the money it’ll cost.
Just after some words of advice really and peoples’ opinions on what you would do if you were me…
I have a good job and manage to save a bit each month however I already have a few things to pay off each month- student loan, car, mortage, laser eye surgery… I have no debt issues/credit cards or anything like that but I do worry about odd things coming up and not being able to pay for them as I’ll have spent all my savings on a BA!
Part of me wants to save up and get it done in a few years time when I know I will have enough. But, I’m getting married in June 2012 and would love to have them done by then and before I have kids (while I am young-ish – 25!)
Arrgh I just don’t know what to do! I know it’s all a bit confusing but I would just like any words of advice. Is there a trigger point or certain thing that happened that made you definitely decide to have a BA? Thanks so much in advance :o) x
Hi Lauren,
I was the same as you, do i do it, do i not. The thing that convinced me eventually was my friend had it done with MYA and so told me all about it and was really helpful. A couple of weeks later i booked my consultation to find out more and now i should be booking my ba at the end of the month to hopefully have it done in a another 2-3 months, i cant wait!!
If i were you i would book a consultation. Firstly you see your pc who will match you with a surgeon she thinks best suits you after she’s asked you a few questions about what you want from your ba. Then you book a consultation with the surgeon to go over what you want, size, shape etc and you get to see the implants and try them on in a sports bra. I found it all incredibly helpful and its all free!! You can have as many consultations as you like to make sure you are getting what you want and all your questions answered then if you decide its not for you then there is no obligation to book.
Regarding the money situation, it is alot of money and there will always be that nagging feeling about it, but if its worth it then you will find a way. You could always pay half or 3/4 up front then put the rest on finance so you still have some savings?? Hope this helps x
when i first wanted a BA i felt like that, even though i wanted them soo bad, when browsing the web pages i would order brochures ect
i remember after i received one and then got a courtesy call i completely freaked out muttered a few words and put the phone down in a panic, it was like all of a sudden it was real!
eventually plucked up the courage to book a consultaion (via email lol) and ever since then everythings so much clearer in my head.
so i really would recommend booking an initial consultation, theyre free and theres no promises at the end

Hi hun,
I wanted my boobs done for years but never had the money. I can say now that after getting them done I wish I’d done it years ago!!! Its most definatly worth all the money.
I would say though I had mine done after having children as they were very empty, they would drop after you have children even if you’v had a BA.
I paid 60% of mine and MYA lent me the rest interest free over the following year I will have paid it all off nx mth :)Book a consultation and see a surgeon maybe that’l help you decide…your under np obligation to book xx
