What about Arnica tablets to help with bruising?

Well I read Arnica thins the blood, so I’m personally not going to take it before the op. I’m guessing you will have to let the doc/nurse know that your taking it too? I’m not sure about them lol! Have you taken them? What do you know about them?

    Menu

    Hi Girls,

I was unsure about arnica so i called my nurse Kate today, she called me back and she said Mr C said to start taking arnica only the day before the op and not sooner.

I guess every surgeon has different opinions.

Eat lots of pineapple though, my nan always said its the best thing for bruising- dont know if its an old wives tale or not. :-) I used arnica and ate pineapple when i had my nose done years ago and i had hardly any bruising and what i did have only lasted a few days.

You can get the dermatix strips off ebay cheap. They are to use on your scars, but only after 6 weeks! People swear by them xx
