I am 4 weeks post op today. Me and hubby are going out for our anniversary on saturday and I would rather wear a dress with a nice bra underneath instead of my big sports bra. Would it be too early to go and get measured on saturday and buy a nice wireless bra to wear just for a night out?

    Thanks ladies x

Hi Faye i was 4 weeks post op yesterday, ive heard of some of the girlies wearing a bra for just one night, hope you have a lovely night xx

I wouldn’t get measured until at least 6 weeks hun. If you go out and buy bras now you will likely waste your money as your breasts are still changing in size and shape. There’s no harm though in just buying one for your do :) x

ive had to buy new bras varies time in the last few month due to my boobs changing, def wait to get measured and dont go over bored buying bras till you see the final results, which can take up to a year, im 7 months now and they still changing xx

Can’t you just go braless for the night? Don’t forget you now have implants which don’t need hoisting up like big normal boobies lol x

Hmmm I never considered going a braless was just thinking of buying one for my night out. May have to go and try some outfits on minus my very attractive sports bra!

We are of to see dirty dancing at the theatre…can’t wait…..I’m so sad I don’t get out much these days lol x x

If you can get a non wired bra that would be best. You shouldn’t really go completely braless as the weight of your new boobs may put to omuch strain on the recovering muscle and cause problems. If you’re not wearing your support bra, just get a nice non wired bra for the night x

I bet your new boobies will look fab in a dress without a bra on…. Latest pics are good, they look lovely – I wouldn’t doubt the size Hun they’re fab! You’re probably just getting used to them and have noticed any swelling disappearing.

    Have a great night out x x

Newboobies… When is it ok to go braless? That’s what I’m most looking forward to! Hopefully I won’t feel he need to pull my top/dress own to show everyone my new additions when I’m drunk lol….. 2 weeks to go! X

Well I am 3 and a half months post op now and Mr. K told me yesterday i should still be wearing a support bra lol!! Most girls are still wearing a bra to bed for up to a year. Implants are quite heavy and they can put strain on the muscle if not supported. I shouldn’t think it will hurt too much to go braless for a few hours at a time after about 6 weeks, but the nurse and surgeon will know best x

I’ve put weight on over the last few weeks not much but enough to make me feel a bit tubby in the dress I was planning to wear!

So, plan b……I have a nice little black dress that will be perfect for the theatre and it fits nicely over top of very attractive not to mention sexy sports bra lol

    Thanks ladies xx

Ps…..thanks for the compliment kelbel always nice to get :)

Newboobies – :( I thought it was only 6 weeks you had to wear your support bra for…. *sighhhh* lol. Whilst they do look rather comfortable I’d rather not have to wear for full 12 weeks bu if that’s what it takes then that’s what it takes lol. And never even thought of the heaviness! With the muscle strain, will this still apply to me even though I’m having overs? Sorry if silly question lol x x

Faye – I’m sure you will look gorge in your lbd – bet your hubby can’t wait to rip it off you when you get back from the theatre to see that sexy sports bra of yours lol. At least youre all sorted and saves aving to buy a bra that youre not going to wear soon enough. btw, What size implants did you have? x x
