    Hi ladies,

I’ve got my op booked for the 22nd, i’m having 410 overs! I’m still undecided as to whether to buy a macom or just go with one from Asda or M&S.

I’ve heard a few people mention how uncomfortable the macoms are and others have sworn by them.

    CONFUSEDDOTCOM!!!

    Hiya

During my consult with surgeon Ben Chew (Glasgow, he recommended the ones from thes supermarket. He told me to buy two, one to wear one to put in wash as I will only need them for around 4-6 wks.

    I’m having 410 unders.

Same here,I’m booked in for the 17th,I’ve already got some asda ones and a post op bra from eBay 6.99 so I’ve got something to do up at the front so as not uncomfortable.I’m thinking I’m just gona leave the Macom so I can spend more on my sexy bras, lolxxx

    Thanks Sharron,

I was leaning more towards getting them from Asda, tescos etc. I just think it’s prob not worth spending all that money on a bra you’re only going to wear for a couple of weeks!

I’ve got my pre-op appointment on Sat, so might pop in to town after and grab some :)

Whens your op booked for? xx

Haha Moira, I was thinking the same! Rather splash out on nice sexy ones rather than a macom :) xx

I LOVE my Macom, i know they cost a fair bit, but they are so worth it, if your going to spend the best part of £4000 on your boobs, then £40 extra on a good bra isnt gona hurt, you might as well get the best for your new boobs :-) I know everyone is different, but i think they are worth the money, i was really worried i would like it, but it feels fab xxx

I have a MaCom and it’s uncomfortable (makes me itch and scratches my nipples), BUT the asda and M&S ones I bought are WAY more uncomfy. They don’t come down far enough under the breasts and end up pressing on my incision scars which is really painful. I’ll wear my asda one for up to an hour while washing my MaCom, but no longer than that.

Thanks Littlekate, it’s just so confusing knowing what to buy! I just think if I buy one and its not comfortable i’ve wasted my money but if I don’t buy one, what if that would of been the better bra! ARRGGGGGHHH stress lol

I think i’m gonna end up getting one and buying the other bras too and just seeing which ones I feel more confortable in!

Hey xxtamzaxx I had 410 overs on Monday, I’m finding my macom a little uncomfortable atm, I’m on my way to get an asda bra now. They say macom’s give u the right support tho so I’m gonna wear it as much as I can and wear my asda one in between washes. x x x

    Menu

i swear by my macom, i know it doesn’t help to add to the confusion! BUT nothing supports me like it xx

    Menu

Thank you for all your posts :) It is confusing but I defo think i’m gonna get a macom and get ones from asda too so if it is uncomfortable I can just switch it!!

I wanna have the right support! Don’t want my new boobs to end up as ankle warmers :) xx

Thats what i done, i got my Macom and also the Asda sports bra, the asda one is nice but doesnt give enough support like the Macom, so i will keep the asda one for a later date, i think its important to get enough support and keep you held together! I havent found that it itchs, but everyone’s skin is differnet, so maybe try washing it in comfort first! Im gona get a M&S Bra next as they are really nice too, but gona wait a while first xxx

That will come round really fast I bet!! I almost had to cancel mine as work were being a right pain but finally managed to get the time off for the 22nd!!

Roll on the 22nd then I hope September comes round super fast :) xx

I’ve ordered the M&S max support bra as it looks good, and goes quite far down like the macom. Does anyone know if it gives enough support though?
